BEST free word-of-the-day app! You're given definitions, how to use in sentence, and some of the words even give the name origin. It is COLOR-coded with different words from different dictionaries and there’s an option to read more about the word! It also has time- preference daily reminders & free quizzes to test your knowledge! Even for a native speaker, they are challenging words that will broaden your vocabulary.

Overpriced in my opinion. Otherwise would be amazing app.
Ad frequency is insanely exorbitant
A very decent app, the free version sports too many intrusive ads to greatly diminish its functionality to non paying users.

One of the biggest app design failures I’ve ever seen for such a simple concept.
Ugly display. Loaded with advertisements, and bizarre word info not relevant to the reason most of us downloaded the app.

I downloaded several applications in order to check which one is the best for me. And I did really like this one. It is not annoying, in a month I discovered a lot of words and meanings.

Love the word of the day app. It keeps my mind strong. I especially love the daily quizzes and tests. Love the sound and turtle sound button also.

The word of the day is an amazing app. I have a rich vocabulary. But this word of the day app helped me improve it even further by daily quizzes. Great app and very useful

I love the idea of the app, and I use it daily. I look forward to my alerts. But the ads often freeze the app and I have to restart. But a great app overall. I love the quizzes.
