functionality drop off

app has been extremely useful for about a week after download, but now the lock screen widget (entire reason i’m using the app), notifications and sounds, and in app notifications have all stopped working. So the app now is a timer app with extra steps and completely loses the entire reason i loved the app at first. I have emailed the developer to ask if maybe it’s a software issue on my end but they have yet to respond. I’d pay like $100 for this app for its original functionality, but now it’s essentially useless. Have no idea what happened, would love to hear back from the developers and fix my usage and purchase the lifetime access.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the issues you've been experiencing after the new update. We’re working hard to resolve these problems as quickly as possible. Regarding the lock screen widget not functioning, we recommend restarting your phone to see if that restores its functionality. If you encounter any other issues, please feel free to report them to us either through email or the app store, as we make sure to read all feedback. While we may not be able to respond to everyone right away due to time constraints, please rest assured that we see all the messages. Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your patience as we work on these fixes!

Love it

I honestly love this app. It slays so much and makes me study lots.

Really helps me focus

I have been using this for my last semesters in nursing school because I have a addiction to scrolling through my phone, there is a happiness collecting little tomatoes that gives me a small amount of motivation to put my phone down and work. The only thing I wish is the different tags would give me different color tomatoes. So as they collect, I can see exactly how many tomatoes I spend with each subject.
Also having a timer option that just counts up instead of down could be cool?

Pause button

I like the app, clean and functions well. Would love a pause button so when I go to the toilet etc, it won’t affect my progress.

Great!

I am loving the app, exactly what I was looking for something simple I can use and tag. Brilliant work!

Only requestsfrom my end would be an optional sound when completing the pomodoro (as if my phone is on vibrate or dnd the notification won’t sound) and exporting to csv and then the app would be perfect for me!

Good simple pomadoro app

Writing this review to suggest features. The customization options are confusing. What exactly does “focus session” mean? Is that the number of pomodoros before a long break? It doesn’t seem so. I’d like a more clear way to see how many pomodoros have gone by so I know when the long break is coming. I like seeing all the tomatoes on the screen but since they’re are cumulative they don’t help in this regard. There doesn’t seem to be a way to reset the number of pomodoros for the day. Today, I started my sessions thinking I’d work for 4 pomodoros then get my long break, but the app gave me my long break after 3, and I can’t tell why. If there was a “reset” button or at least a clear tracker i could better keep track of my work. I really like the over all design of this app over other pomodoro trackers, so I hope more features and quality of life fixes come soon.

Solid app

It does everything I need from a pomodoro timer app, cute and simple. I would just love a few changes that would make a massive difference in how much I like the app:

1) Ability to pause the focus/break timers. Sometimes I get interrupted by someone else during a pomodoro, but I don’t want to sacrifice the entire tomato by having to stop the session

2) Abillty to reset the pomodoro counts. Sometimes I’m only able to do 1 pomodoro before I have to leave for the day, which is fine. But if my app setting is set to 3 pomodoros before the long break, I just want to restart the count next time I open the app to work, instead of it still counting the 1 pomo from a previous day. If there was a button for that, that would be great

It’s pretty awesome-sauce!

I want free feature also please do not put this helpful tool over a pay wall like why is a timer app telling me it has subscription.

I love it

I love that it blocks the pop ups from text and snap 😁

Love this little app

Seeing the little tomatoes roll around on my screen is surprisingly motivating, especially since you are forced to essentially start over every week/day (depending on your settings).

This app really helps me with that extra push to do stuff when I’m feeling unmotivated. I just wish that there were a to-do-list feature so that I don’t have to keep switching between apps to check my progress (which is counterintuitive to the “stay focused/don’t get distracted” point of using a pomodoro in the first place)
