Useless.
Limited nav app options, have to leave phone unlocked. Not usable.
Poor app choice.
Absolutely zero reason to use this app. Thought it would be nice to have maps up on the TFT.
I’ve disconnected it from my bike and mount the phone for navigation. The apps on offer are far too limited no option for even google maps or Waze.
Also no way to see stats for bike either unlike many other manufacturers apps.

Useless app
Was hoping it would get updated with some decent features, now am pretty sure that's not gonna happen. Literally rendering many bikes from the series useless in terms of techology. It's a shame, developed nice peace of HW on Linux with no features, hope we hack it soon and use full potential.
Not as bad as rating suggests
Almost didn’t try due to poor ratings, but I just use it with the Sygic gps on my gsxs1000gt and I thinks it is pretty great!
It’s alright.
When set up properly, it’s ok. That means allowing your location services all the time. Sygic is an ok app for nav and it looks really good on the TFT. If it’s a chill ride, being able to see your music ‘now playing’ is good too. Yes, your phone will need to be on charge and the screen will dim itself but always be on - not ideal but that’s how the mirroring works. Nothing really beats having your phone mounted on a quad lock wireless charger, which is what I use in all weathers. If they could just get google maps, Waze, or calimoto on the app, it would be just competitive enough that I’d use it far more often. At the minute, this app will be reserved for very long A to B day trips (300 mile plus) so I can keep my phone out the sun and just relax with the TFT. Otherwise, the iPhone wins every time for third party nav apps.

Better than nothing.
I’m ok with this app. It works just fine 99% of the time. Others will say it’s terrible etc… I say to them. Don’t use it. It plays my music, works the maps just fine. Who cares about all of the contacts on your phone while riding?? Music and maps that’s what I say. Sure it’s nice to make calls or take them. But do you really need to be scrolling thru contacts while riding??? The phone part works just fine. Just give it some time and you will figure it out. Not bothered by the battery drain, it’s easy enough to plug into the usb port when needed.
Just keep riding!!

Mobile gets heat up
Loosing battery very fast plus iPhone 14 pro max is heating up .
It’s really bad…
I didn’t want to believe the reviews so I tried this app with my brand new Suzuki motorcycle. It’s terrible. Know those apps you enjoy while riding? Sorry, not available. Spotify? Nope. Waze? No way. Apple Maps? Negative. Spotify? Heck no. You get the np name apps Suzuki decided should be in a mini App Store within their app, and you had better like it! (Or just don’t pair your phone with your bike.).
The only way I could imagine ever using this app works be if I bought a dedicated phone just for the motorcycle and paired that. Even then it would be far worse than CarPlay.

Needs work.
As most others have mentioned, there are too many bugs or lack of features with the app and MySPIN system for it to work effectively. Suzuki needs to roll out an overhaul update. App and connectivity should continue if phone locks. There needs to be Apple Maps or google map’s integration.
A calendar? Why?
This app is a very, very poor user experience for a number of reasons. 1. You can’t lock your phone while it’s running out it turns off. 2. You can’t use any other apps or it turns off. 3. Due to #2, you can’t use your phone to enter addresses for the map and are stuck using the on-bar arrow keys for entry. #4. It uses Wi-Fi, not Bluetooth, which means it drains battery far faster unless you have it plugged in.
Even VESPA’s app can manage to do all of those things and still stay connected to the scooter when the phone is locked.
