Not Bad, But Improvement Needed
I recently visited HawaiianBros for lunch, and while the food itself was not bad and the portions were okay, my experience left a bit to be desired. I ordered my meal with macaroni, but unfortunately, they left it out and gave me a double scoop of rice instead, which I didn’t ask for.
Additionally, I had a free soft serve reward that I wanted to redeem, but the app wouldn’t let me add it to my order. Even the staff at the store couldn’t help me with this, suggesting that maybe it takes a few days to activate, but I’m not convinced that’s the case.
Overall, I’ll be back because I enjoy the food, but they really need to improve on paying closer attention to the orders and ensuring they get them right.Show lessArizona Stud
Mixing food
Not sure if they were out of plates or what the issue was. The almost $10 small plate I thought I ordered came in a small bag rectangular to go box. The food was all mixed together. So if your a person that doesn’t like your food to touch this would not be for you. The macaroni was mixed with the rice and chicken all together. The picture it showed on the app of how it was supposed to look separated was not how it came at all. It is not work the $10 for the kids meal adult plate I received.Show less!!...!!..!!
Food is good but check your order
The last 3 times I’ve eaten here they’ve left the Mac salad out of my order. The employees are nice but they don’t take the time to verify online orders are correct. It’s ridiculous to order and drive off only to find your missing something when you get home because they don’t do their job and then seal it off with a big sticker so it looks like no one messed with it. This place needs to make sure their employees are paying attention and actually doing their job. People don’t pay to be skimped.Show lessJesusUsesTec9s
Missing item
This is a new location and I’ve never eaten here before. First the free dole whip was not free when I signed up. It was very confusing to pick up curbside. Then after figuring that out we got the order from the drive thru only to realize I didn’t get the dole whip I paid for and I tried to call them only for them to answer and hang up. Last after getting the food home and the order was wrong. The food was good but the service for 2 meals and an ice cream I never got was not worth the $43 I paid.Show lessFoodiecouple
Disorganized
This review isn’t about the app but it directed me to leave my review here. Ordered on the app - got to the location, asked the drive thru if I could get a mobile order in the drive thru, she said sure, called my name back. Got to the first window asked for my name and and said okay next window. Get to the pickup window and she says “you are going to need to pull forward” nothing else. I said okay and proceed to wait 5+ mins basically clogging up their drive thru so I pull into a spot and go in. No one can find my order or record of my order - so I’d still be waiting if I hadn’t gone inside.

Restaurant is great, app is terrible
I’ve tried multiple times to order through the app. It has yet to actually work. Items were missing the first few times then the last few said order couldn’t be placed so change the item…not what item to change. There was nothing that should’ve needed changed whatsoever. Ordered through the website and it went just fine. This app has done nothing but not work. Love the food and restaurant but won’t be using the app from now on.Show lessSpoofcat1
Convenient! (When it works)
Overall, the app is super helpful for ordering food ahead of time! However, the app has been broken when it comes to submitting payment— it routinely gives an error message.
As it stands right now, I’m unable to submit an order from the app because of this problem.VentureFox
Too good
I take food seriously and this is one of the safest places to eat compared to all this faast food and they even have a drive thru but the best part is the food. One of the best foods ive ever had no 🧢. The icecream is so delicious and simple i feel its natural. No paid promo here just the happiest costumer. Gone downhill
I’ve been eating at HB for roughly 5 years. It’s always been amazing but the last 3 times I’ve gotten it the portions were so small and that was on the plate with added meat. My box weighed like maybe about 1/3 of a pound and I had double meat and double macaroni salad which is heavy so it should’ve weighed at least a pound if not more. I just places an online order and if it’s not up to par then HB will no longer be in my top 3. I’ve spent a lot of money there over the last 5 years and I feel like probably half of the time I left feeling disappointed. We’ll see how this order is. And this is the Barry Rd. Review your order when using “Order this again”
I recently attempted to use the “order this again” feature only to notice when I picked my food up, the feature does not carry over the order modifications. So be sure to review to be sure you’re getting what you want!!CGreen311
