MixBox cuts out. 5 stars when fixed. !FIXED!
!FIXED! 9 effects that cut out automatically when I try to use them on a track. I’m using iPad Pro, so there is no problem with my equipment.

Amazing app but needs a patch ASAP
I’m currently reinstalling this app which is a real game changer and incredible addition to my DAW. The problem is that it seems like when the app is applied to more than three tracks at a time it is overloaded and it stops running completely, shutting down and causing it to no longer open in any iOS DAW system. I’m running an iPad Pro with a large processor that usually can handle multiple apps running at once but this app causes everything to shut down. It may be too good to be true because the sound is amazing and I’m not willing to quit using until I can find a work around but other folks that are not tech savvy will get frustrated with this. A patch or update is needed ASAP to save this app otherwise.Show lessMe Midi

Desperately needs a noise gate/suppressor. Thanks for the extra presets when you register, but my iPad doesn’t have them in the on my iPad files. Not sure if I didn’t follow the instructions right but I tried numerous times. Thanks for what I have now.MN.Mike

i love it but sometimes when i try using specific presets it sounds like everything blows and the whole track goes silent. For ex, im unable to use any guitar preset and it really bums me out.izayacx

I can’t believe this came out of nowhere....this is all I been waiting for...I’m tellling you now, buy it and you won’t regret it...I’m making quality music in Cubasis 3 with this plugin..haven’t experienced any bugs so far..but for what it can do, it will get you a very nice demo or even mastered music if your good enough...I love it..Show lessZae1983

WOW..... I wanted something similar to Slate Digital plug-ins on the ipad and finally it's here. The analog user interface with a touchscreen gives a nice hybrid. No more annoying mouse click when turning the knobs to adjust the settings.
GLITCH - there is currently a glitch when using with Cubasis 3 on Sends. Every adjustments that are made to an indivitual channel(MixBox rack) effects other channels that are using racks. When MixBox is applied to Inserts, it works as normal. Thank you so much!Show lessA'KO RAY

Hi There! Thank you for the amazing feedback! About Cubasis 3, that sounds like the intended design. The Sends are universal on all tracks, while the inserts are independent per track. This is ideal for Reverb or Delay sends, so that those tracks' sends have uniform wet signal. This way, changing 1 parameter applies to multiple tracks' sends, like a group. I am using musicbox cs in Garagband (latest version 2.3.10) as a plug-in. I can open it, add a rack or preset., but as soon as I start inputting sound (by using the virtual keyboard in GB), I hear a pop sound that then disables sound completely for GB (and any other tracks in the song, regardless if those tracks have musicbox or not as a plugin). I am using 2018 iPad Pro and to demo the musicbox app I simply used a grand piano instrument in the standard Keys patches of GB. I don’t think memory is the issue as I use memory intensive music apps frequently. The only way I can get GB to work again is to turn off the musicbox plug-in, exit GB fully (swiped app), go back in to GB, choose my song, and KEEP MusicBox off! Very disappointing as the app looks amazing and has powerful tools for mobile audio. Thank you for your attention.Show lessAliinAustin

I’ve been waiting for these effects for years!!!! I remember asking IK in emails to release this when I first bought Syntronik. Well they did and it couldn’t have been better timing!!!! The review before stated no automation and no cc control but, there is a dry/wet mix. I don’t know about cc or automation nor do I care or use it. No 1176, LA2A, or Pultec EQ is what has been keeping me from committing to vocals on the iPad Pro all that changed today!!!! For song creation and mixing? This app immediately replaces a gang of individual effects AUV3s I have along with the guitar and amp sims I’ve been using. I’ve used MixBox CS so far in Cubasis 3 and it worked without a hitch recording my vocals and electric guitars.
This app is packed to the brim with all varieties of high quality emulations of classic effects covering a wide base of applications. 600 presets? It’s gonna take me a week to go through all of them. Thank you IK Multimedia for providing an app that is complete unto itself, requiring no in-app purchases in order for it to have full functionality. The introductory price is a bargain considering what you’re getting. Preview samples, standalone + AUV3, ability to create custom presets and racks. The features go on and on. Somebody or somebodies took their sweet time to get this one right.
I can’t wait for the weekend when I can really mess with this app!
