Kind of annoying on playback
Playback requires me to go all they way back to 12:01 am then scroll through to the time I’m looking for. It would be so much better if it was like other apps that lets you go to live stream and then scroll back from there. It takes too much time to start at 12:01 am every time I want to look at something 5-10 mins ago. Also not so friendly interface for casual and new users. Too techy. NVR likes to take a vacation sometimes as well so we have to go wake it back up by unplugging it and plugging it back in. Wish we could do that via the app. Makes it impossible when on vacations and of course, it WILL happen when you are on vacation so the house isn’t protected at one of your the most important times you need it.Show lessDeveloper Response
Thank you for your feedback, when the recording is set to (motion + 24/7), playback will start at the beginning of the selected day, other services like cloud door phone cameras start at the most recent event, which differs from 24/7 based recording. Your recorder should work reliably, and in case you face a technical issue please start a support ticket at https://www.camius.com/support . The issue you described could be due to a faulty HDD so please check your HDD health, we recommend turning on auto-reboot either weekly or daily. You can also reboot your recorder remotely using the Camius View app, go to Configuration > System > Maintenance > Auto Reboot > Date, and type the current time then click reboot.
