Kind of annoying on playback

Playback requires me to go all they way back to 12:01 am then scroll through to the time I’m looking for. It would be so much better if it was like other apps that lets you go to live stream and then scroll back from there. It takes too much time to start at 12:01 am every time I want to look at something 5-10 mins ago. Also not so friendly interface for casual and new users. Too techy. NVR likes to take a vacation sometimes as well so we have to go wake it back up by unplugging it and plugging it back in. Wish we could do that via the app. Makes it impossible when on vacations and of course, it WILL happen when you are on vacation so the house isn’t protected at one of your the most important times you need it.

Thank you for your feedback, when the recording is set to (motion + 24/7), playback will start at the beginning of the selected day, other services like cloud door phone cameras start at the most recent event, which differs from 24/7 based recording. Your recorder should work reliably, and in case you face a technical issue please start a support ticket at https://www.camius.com/support . The issue you described could be due to a faulty HDD so please check your HDD health, we recommend turning on auto-reboot either weekly or daily. You can also reboot your recorder remotely using the Camius View app, go to Configuration > System > Maintenance > Auto Reboot > Date, and type the current time then click reboot. Hard time connecting

I’ve tried multiple times to get my app to connect to my Camius NVR. I tried multiple ways even though it detects it on my network.Really frustrating

Good app but…

I wish the motion detection worked better on it. It indicates motion where there isn’t any and doesn’t show motion sometimes when someone is at the door. Messed with the settings and adjusted the viewable motion detection so it wasn’t seeing anything in the background but it still hasn’t helped.

Hi, we appreciate your feedback, if you face this issue again please check the following: 1- Update the Camius View app to the latest version. 2- Adjust the time and date on the recorder to the current time. 3- Make sure the Motion Recording Schedule is highlighted for the desired time period. The camera app, is not very good. The recorded footage is very difficult to navigate.

Good for monitoring but where are my recorded snippets?

There’s a function to Play-back and record, but I’m not sure if either this doesn’t work at all or if it does where the files and up. No idea where to find them so not very helpful.
** updated** you’ve got to swipe to get the sidebar to see local recordings. They are there, it just wasn’t intuitive fit me. From 3 to 5 stars though!

Doesn’t handle non standard ports at all

No subscription. Works on LTE well.

Once your have your camera system up and running, connected to network, it Easily finds your cameras and you can add them to your app. I can control spotlight and siren features which I’m happy about. Audio is very clear. You can change video quality from low to HD. Playback works well too. Works on LTE if you use P2P or port forwarding.
