  • Needs updates desperately

    The Storypod will not stay connected to the WiFi. If my kids try and swap out crafties we have to reconnect the internet. It’s not been working seamlessly since purchase and it’s so frustrating
  • I would rate a zero. No customer service. Doesn’t work

    Stopped working a week into owning. Doesn’t play any sounds. No responses to emails or phone calls. Purchased like 10 different accessories and money wasted. Buy tonies or some tonies else
  • Piece. of. JUNK

    Ask me how our Storypod experience is going and I couldn’t even tell you, because I cannot even get the stupid thing to connect to my phone for Wi-Fi for the very first set step of setting it up. This is incredibly frustrating and is an expensive paperweight. The app doesn’t even save your login information so I have to force quit the app over and over and over and sign back in and add my child. Every single time I try to connect to the Wi-Fi to set this stupid thing up. this is a waste of money.
  • The app can’t connect to our Wi-Fi

    We are on our second story pod because support who had us record what we were doing with setup sent us that second one after they couldn’t figure out what we were doing wrong. Everything else in the house can connect to the Wi-Fi, so it’s a Storypod problem, one that is increasingly common per online. You may love your children but you will forever hate the Storypod App. Your children will cry in disappointment, you will cry, everyone will cry.
  • App doesn’t do anything

    You go in to set up and the app freezes on WiFi page over and over even when Storypod says it is successfully connected to WiFi. It makes all of the additional items unusable, sticker, crafties, ect. Extremely disappointing. I’ve contacted customer support and they only thing they stay is to send it back and they send out a new one, third one still doesn’t work Christmas is in a week, save yourself the hassle. It’s the apps issue that ruined the whole thing.
  • Run!!!

    I was so excited to get this for my daughter but the customer service and lack of resources alone is a big enough reason to run. After spending an entire day setting this up and downloading all of the crafties I was so excited to give this to my daughter. She LOVED it instantly and played with it the rest of the night. The next morning I went to give it to her to play with before school and notified it would only play the last crafty and was no longer registering any other crafty places on top. After scouring the internet for help articles and watching any YouTube video available along with making SEVERAL attempts to call and email support I begrudgingly did a factory reseat knowing I would lose hours of work with downloaded content. Now there are no downloaded crafts and nothing will play. Everything else on the device works but the reader which unfortunately makes it completely useless. They claim to have phone and email response but I they never answer the phone or return calls and all of their emails have been unhelpful canned response. Looking at their website it claims they will replace a defective product within TWELVE MONTHS of it being returned which is outrageous and I can’t even start the return process. Storypod has officially ruined Christmas for my toddler. I was very excited to share this with other mom friends as Christmas gifts but now I will be making sure to tell everyone I know that this brand is not worth the hype.
  • Internet struggles

    We were so excited to get storypod for our two toddlers (12/2022). We have Google fiber, which doesn’t appear to have a 2.4g option. Since our internet is only 5g, we cannot connect our storypod to the internet. We have spent 11 months troubleshooting, playing around, trying to get wifi-extenders to make a 2.4g option. We’ve been able to connect at some friends’ houses, and added the crafties onto our “account” - but when we get home, we cannot play them. The storypod gave us a prompt to connect and update the firmware, but we cannot connect it at our house to do this update.
  • Disappointed

    We have had the full range of products from this company for years and purchased countless accessory items for our children. How disappointed we were to find the customer service non existent when we had an issue after years of using this product. Rude and unhelpful. We found similar/same product elsewhere and decided to purchase where service was much better. Had we known this we never would have bothered with this item.
