Useful, but missing Spacebar in Key Combos
I bought 2 8BitDo controllers (1 Micro and 1 Zero 2) to use as productivity remotes while drawing. This app works great on Mac, however I am missing the Spacebar key in the Key Combos option for keymapping. Seems like an oversight? Hope they add it! I'm 1 button short of making an ultimate hotkeys controller for Clip Studio Paint.

Ultimate 2.4g controller
I am not sure if I bought a wrong model, I want a controller which can be configured the macro and used on my iPad. But I found out my ultimate 2.4g controller is not able to use the iPad ultimate software. The app name confused me while one is ultimate software and another is ultimate 2.4g controller. I can connect my controller to iPad via bluetooth after the firmware update but it is still not compatible to the iPad ultimate software. Is there any scheduled update to let users to enjoy their controller on the same platform?

Doesn’t replace pc software
SN30 Pro+ does not register in the app when connecting via Bluetooth or by cable on iPad Pro. Have to still use the ultimate software on pc to configure the controller.
Please add entire key library for key combos!
Love this app for keyboard shortcuts and art programs. It’s missing the option to add certain key combos like “Ctrl -“ and “Ctrl =“ for zooming in. I love how fast the keyboard syncs and the ability to save different profiles though! Also doesn’t convert certain keys for Mac Ctrl=command, alt= option so forth so most shortcuts won’t even work on Mac

Very limited MACRO function
Yesterday I received my Ultimate Controller, the product quality is good. The buttons are responsive. However, in function of macro, this controller has a big disadvantage compared to other much cheaper controllers:
1. In building your own macro, you can’t record it by pressing the buttons on the controller but need to use the app, which leads to another disadvantage
2. When building macro, you can’t “hold” a key which is simulated on the app while pressing another key. For example, in Tears of Kingdom, you hold R to throw something and at the same time hold UP to change what to throw, then use Joycon to switch between items. The app just can’t do it.
3. When you perform a macro, you can’t press other keys to make it a combo. Other keys just do nothing until the macro is finished. For example, you assigned one of the back keys to perform X+Y, and you want to press UP yourself. UP will not work.
I returned this one and bought another controller which could easily record a macro on the controller itself, though the product quality is lower.
Some people may argue that what I did was not the actual “macro”. But other no brand controllers could do it, I’m surprised 8bitdo couldn’t.
8bitdo please update! A firmware update should work! I love the product!

Fixed all previous issues
It works great. Previous reviewers should fix their ratings as it no longer reflects current state of app. Should be 5 stars. The controllers are great, better than Razer in my opinion.

Works great for me.
I got a 8Bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller for switch. After a small learning curve it works good.
Do not let this App update your controller fir to 3.0.
Do not let it update your controller firmware to 3.0, it will stop getting recognized as a Bluetooth device by the iOS. Stay with 2.1. If this happened, or the controller got bricked in the process (as mine has been) you can roll back using the a USB connection to your home computer and their official firmware update tool. Just roll back to 2.1 and everything will be back to normal.

bricked my controllers
was on 1.08 and the app said I need a firmware update to 3.00, but after it finished my controllers don’t work at all and the app says they are now on 0.44 and it keeps trying to update to 3.00 repeatedly
