User Reviews: DaysyDay Cycle, Period Tracker

Top reviews

  • Basic

I love my Daysy thermometer, but the app is basic at best. You can only log your period, sex, cervical fluid and notes. Right now I’m using this app and using the FLO app to track the rest of my symptoms, moods etc.

It would be nice in future updates to get more options to track so I don’t have to use multiple apps to track everything.
  • Best fertility tool!

I’ve been using Daysy for a few months & its been so easy to track my cycles. I Know more about my body now. Sometimes I miss quite a few measuring days and that gets a little annoying but the device it’s self and the app works great in my opinion.
  • add LH test feature please!

i just got the app and so far it works great. but if there was a way to add the LH test strip tracker that would be SO helpful. that way i could track all 3 symptoms in one place (temperature, discharge, and LH peak) instead of using multiple apps.

Hi sarjo1102, thanks so much for taking the time to leave a detailed review. We'll pass your feedback along to the developers for inclusion in a future app update.
  • Love Love Love!

This app and device are great, simple and I LOVE how minimalist it is. I hate other apps that want to track moods, pains, etc. and constantly ask, how are you feeling today. This simple, clean, direct app/device is perfect and I highly recommend.

Hi LoriHoep. Thank you so much for your review! Our goal was to always keep Daysy simple and user friendly. If we ever add additional tracking features in future updates, we'll be sure to make it so they can be "hidden" or turned off for those users who don't want the clutter.
  • Past reviews are correct

Reading years old reviews with responses that these improvements are coming… and they are not here unless I’m missing something.

I agree that a $300 device should have a much more robust tracking system. Like others have noted, there are many free period apps that track cervical fluid, mood, cravings, cramps, etc.

I also hate that you can’t edit your period more than 3 days after the fact. Often times i don’t get around to syncing my device to the app and miss tracking day 1.

Surely there are some similar devices with apps that are much more robust now? But having paid so much for this one I’m kind of stuck with it.

Hi LindsBlends, thank you for your review. We try to add new features to the app with each update. Please email us at info@usa.daysy.me with any specific symptoms you would like to track. We can also provide you with more information regarding the editable window for menstruation. Don't forget you can confirm menstruation directly on your Daysy at any time of day by simply turning the device on and pressing and holding the button.
  • Doesn’t make sense

I’ve been using since Oct 2023 it’s Jan 2024 and info is off. It gives me a green light to have sex when I’m in my period and no sex when I’m off my period. I like the physical design and the concept of syncing my temps. But the product does not work as intended for me.

Hi LevaStyles, we're sorry to hear that you are having some confusion with your Daysy and we'd love the opportunity to assist you. Please email us at info@usa.daysy.me with a description of your concerns. Briefly, you get green days during menstruation because you are infertile during this time. You are considered fertile 5 days before ovulation and the day of ovulation, so in the first few cycles, Daysy is very cautious and gives many red days until she has learned your unique cycle rhythms. Our customer support team will be happy to examine your specific data and tell you why you are getting so many red days.
  • Very Basic

This app is just okay, I just wish there were more areas we could track, like how our mood (happy, nervous, tired, depressed, grateful) etc. It would also be great to choose more than one mood to track the day, since moods can change throughout the day so why limit it to one? Also, being able to track exercise, and having more options for cervical fluid because there are more than just four. I also want to point out that when I’m writing notes, and I want to go back and make a correction in my sentence, each time I type on the keyboard the pointer will jump to the very end of the note, which makes it nearly impossible to make corrections because the flow of typing is completely ruined. I think for a device that’s around 300 dollars, the app needs to have way more features because right now it feels pretty subpar, especially compared to some of the free period tracking apps out there. I really hope to see these suggestions integrated in the future, that would make my experience (and hopefully others) so much better! Because I don’t want to use Daysy to just track my temperature, I want to use it track the entire spectrum of my cycle. ❤️

Dear AnaKatrina, thank you for the detailed feedback! We love to hear what our users would like to see developed in future versions of the app. Stay tuned for new features in the coming updates :)
  • Love it- but improvements could be made

Overall I love the Daysy and the app! The 2 changes I wish I would see are: having the temperature graph show smaller increments, and being able to sync the daysy with other apps.

The graph showing 0.1 degree increments (F) are helpful, if not necessary for those of us using daysy as a tool when avoiding pregnancy with FAM.

Being able to easily sync the daysy to automatically put temps in other apps (such as read your body) would be very helpful, as many of us use multiple apps to track things. This is something temp drop is doing and a reason why I may make the switch.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We will be sure to pass this along to our development team.
  • Not worth the hype or $$$

Can’t backfill period or symptoms of I forgot - tbh it’s a glorified thermometer - just save your money most other period app predictors do a batter job of having more options for PMS symptom tracking & allowing backfilling. Beyond that the device always needs to be charged and the buttons aren’t that intuitive

    Developer Response

Hello. While menstruation data is locked for editing after 3 days, you should be able to backfill any other symptoms or notes. If you are having trouble, please email our support team at info@usa.daysy.me so they can assist you and resolve your concerns.
  • LOVE!!! One request…

So good!! Please add a spot along with mucus etc to add LH reading high/low/peak! I use in conjunction with a clearblue (as I think many women do!) and this would be so helpful to log it all in one place!!!!

    Developer Response

Hi Morgan. Thank you for your review! We have lots of plans for future updates, so we will certainly try to work in requests for additional tracking features.
