Almost perfect
I lose track of my remote a good amount. This app is almost perfect. The only thing that isn’t great is the app seems to time out after a while but only for certain functions. So I will be able to change the volume, but not control whatever is playing on the tv. I get why the app can’t turn on the tv, since the tv can’t connect to Wi-Fi while turned off. But I feel like there should be some way to keep the app from going inactive or whatever is happening. The fix is just to close the app and reconnect, but it would be perfect if this was fixedShow lessEbpstone

I tried the app and at every turn I’m being asked to buy the premium version or having to put up with useless ads. Trying to tune to OTA channel 48.4 only gets me to a list of the the six sub channels on 48 then I have to scroll down to get the channel I’m trying to tune. Can it really be that hard to program a “.” button?? All this app offers is a constant barrage of reminders to buy the premium version in order to go beyond the few basic functions provided. Glitch
There’s a glitch in the system. If I navigate around the television I have to keep switching back-and-forth to navigation in order for it to work. Another words the small diamond that appears on the screen works fine for up down left right but then the next time I use it it won’t work. So I have to switch out of that mode and then switch back into it to get it to work again. This is a consistent problem that happens every timeShow lessLeosoithoc

When I tried the app out for my tv it works but then the next day it keeps asking for a subscription even though I don’t want I just want to control my tv even when i connect the tv to my phone the controls don’t do anything and the subscription keeps coming up so LG stop asking me if I want to do a subscription even though I don’t want to I just want to control my tvShow lessTeslaJE

I had my remote chewed toPieces by my two new puppies. It must have been tasty. I down loaded this app and it worked after I got the TV on. I was able to turn the TV off but it doesn’t turn it on. It doesn’t mention this in the ad anywhere. I am not going to purchase it if it’s not fully functional. I gave two stars instead of one because it does work when it’s on.Show lessBlack Thumb 1256
It’s really not free
I’ve used similar remote apps free versions and this one is by far the worst. With other ones an ad will pop up after like 5 buttons pressed, this app eventually will not let you press any buttons and will keep giving you adds every time you try and change the channel. Then they want like $30 to remove the ads lol, I’ll just buy a new remote instead of using this trash app.Show lesscamAmcintyre08
Why offer the ad version
If you are simply going to only allow me to tap 10 times in the app before saying I need to buy it then why even go through the process of allowing me to sync my tv to this app. I don’t mind the ads. I refuse to pay for something that was free when I downloaded the application. I downloaded this app, thinking it was an actual LG app. It’s not. The app is deceiving. In the store it looks like it’s built by LG but it’s not. once downloaded get ready for ads every time you open it and while you use it. They want you to buy it. Look elsewhere unless you like to be blasted with ads. I would’ve given it a couple more stars if they weren’t so deceptive on who makes the app.Show lessschneids115
Dreadfully unintuitive app demands I pay ever five seconds
I was trying to figure out out to navigate this painfully designed app. I finally figured out where the arrows were for navigation, when I press the up arrow, and then it started demanding that I pay. Down arrow also causes the payment window to pop up. I couldn’t do anything more without paying a huge fee. Promptly uninstalled, thanks for wasting my time, guys.Show lessDoug Barbieri
Garbage, pure garbage
Offers at most 10 minutes of actually using the app as a universal remote, until it reminds you that the developers demand money. To the point every action you try on it causes a popup begging you to pay their subscription, or simply pay $20 to continue using it. The functionality is actually quite nice, but to be chocked with ads, and then for it to not even work unless you throw money at the devs is simply insulting and predatory.
