Incompetent company registration won’t even work😡

A total waste of money and time you CANNOT REGISTER BECAUSE PAGE NOT AVAILABLE CONSTANTLY!!!!
Do not buy this expensive garbage!!!
When you try to register it even disables copy and paste 😡because someone thinks harassing customers is some kind of joke

Terrible. Terrible. TERRIBLE.

Will not register. Contacted support. After 2 WEEKS they called back saying they are sending a replacement printer and it’s doing the same thing!! Bluetooth connects, Wi-Fi connects but will not register so I cannot use the damm thing.

When it works, it works well

Overall when the app works, it makes processing and packing my orders very seamless.

HOWEVER, in the six months I have owned it, I have found has issues with it signing me out then glitching - with the only solution to be uninstall and re-install to get it working again.

Hit and miss…

Most days the app works fine, but unfortunately some days it won’t allow you to log in whatsoever on any device, just gives you a blank screen! This has happened around 4 times now since owning this excellent thermal printer, it’s just the app lets it down!

Not a good experience

The user experience with this app is terrible. The method for PDF label printing is convoluted and requires initiation from outside of the ZSB app. The process itself really doesn’t make much sense, but I can get past that so long as it works. It will work *okay* when using a PDF label that is already scaled properly for a 4x6 label, however in the many instances where it isn’t scaled properly, you have to fiddle around with the label as an image (through the Photos app, not the ZSB app), then export that image to the Files app, then initiate the process from the Files app and attempt to print through the ZSB app. If you didn’t scale your image right then you go back to start and redo the process. It’s pretty ridiculous.

Zebra advertises the ability to crop images, which the ZSB app can technically do, but you have no control over how it crops the image beyond maneuvering a crop area of a preset size around the image. This wouldn’t be so bad *if* you could zoom in or out to scale your label to the proper size, or if you could control the area being cropped and the ZSB app then scale it to the correct size for a 4x6 label. But that would make too much sense, and Zebra doesn’t do things that make sense. Better yet, it would make so much sense if you could access your files from the ZSB app and without needing to navigate to different locations on your device. Or if you could actually initiate the printing process from the app for anything other than preconfigured labels.

None of this is to even mention the horrible user experience that the printer itself poses. It’s difficult to setup, brand new rolls of labels show that there have already been prints performed (184 out of 190 prints remaining, for example) on a brand new, straight from the package, roll. Plus, you’re relegated to a proprietary roll mechanism, so you can’t even use the free thermal labels that UPS and other carriers offer. So every 190 labels (or less) you’ll get to shell out more money to Zebra to use a product that is not fully developed. Save the headache and get a better quality printer. I got mine for free and I’m already planning to replace it with something from Rollo, Dymo, or other.

Useless

You can’t edit labels in the app, you can just print designs you’ve made on the website

Regret

I seriously regret buying my ZSB printer. The print drivers don’t work correctly with Windows 11. No problem though, right? Just use the companion app on iOS or Android. Wrong. Despite their claims, neither the iOS app or the Android app allow you to print from a PDF file. They only allow you to upload and print from image files. Absolutely useless.

Hot garbage

For the “label maker that just works,” their appdev team is clearly the worst in the industry. Authentication is broken so even when a proper token is passed back to the app, it just twirls and then times out. Can’t use the label maker otherwise. Was arbitrarily signed out after weeks of use for no reason. Will be returning their piece of junk printer that is now useless without their worthless app.

PLEASE READ - FIX APP!!

When creating a shipping label from your phone there is no sizing adjustment option for if your label is not set at exactly 4x6.

The standard pdf shipping label export for Mercari, Poshmark, and Facebook is half a page (at 4x6 scale). This is larger than what the ZSB printer app will allow you to print for a 4x6 label so I have to download each file, export to my computer, create a new 4x6 canvas in illustrator, insert the shipping label file, save as pdf, export back to the application and THEN I can print. All of this would be avoided if I could just resize to scale on the “edit a label” page.

I am definitely starting to regret my purchase.

Please do something to update this issue, I’m sure many are having the same problem.
