I was really interested in Glue to solve a business problem for a loyalty program I am setting up. I scheduled a demo with Emily, and she was great! Because of the unique nature of my loyalty program, she came up with a work-around using the Subscription feature to set up my loyalty program and potentially have a solution. She told me I could trial the app so I could test if it was going to work as I needed it to, before I committed to using Glue as my solution. When I got off the demo call I was super excited to set it up and give it a go…only to find out that, to unlock the Subscription feature, I needed 30 members OR I needed to pay a one-time fee to unlock it. I am incredibly disappointed in Glue and the fact that I was told one thing and led to believe I could trial my loyalty program, but this is indeed not the case. When I brought this up with Andrew, I was told there was no option to unlock the feature for trial, but that I could try out the loyalty features no problem. Because my loyalty program is not a traditional program, I NEED the Subscription feature to run it — in fact the Subscription feature is the ONLY way I can run it. I have been searching for a solution to this business problem for a long time with a lot of frustration. I was really hopeful that Glue was my answer. Now, because of broken promises, I have to continue searching. Thank you to Emily for the great service and creative solution. No thank you to Andrew for shutting my hopes down and being less than accommodating with promises made.
