Cool idea, but not worth the cost
Tl;dr app has potential, but there are much better tools and apps out there for MCAT review, and it’s really not worth the price.
I bought the app because I loved the idea of a content review app focused on discrete questions. However, as someone with both MCAT experience (taken it, currently tutor it) and a computer science background, it needs major improvements and is really not worth the $9.99 subscription fee.
The content emphasized by mine isn’t the most “high yield” on the MCAT (a weirdly high number of question on HMR terminology, which is really low yield on the exam). The explanations afterward are sometimes vague or wrong, or outright missing.
In terms of the interface, it’s really hard to read the light gray text of the explanations, and the answer options get cut off. After doing a round of 60 questions, I don’t remember the choices and can’t even see what the correct answer is. The occasional obvious misspelling of words is just irritating. These are pretty obvious UI/UX problems that should have been fixed before the app went live and definitely before it started charging money.
I applaud the effort of the developers and appreciate how hard it is to start an app from scratch and wish them the best of luck as they develop their app. As a consumer though, I’m not ready to recommend it.
Try Anki (free) or MCAT Mastery and UWorld (paid).

Hey there, pages823987! Thank you very much for leaving such quality feedback for us. We normally don't receive this level of detail from those review our app. We are eager to implement your feedback into the app to enhance it, but we need your help do to so! Would you be willing to contact us at "kingofthecurvemcat@gmail.com"? We're awaiting your response, and we look forward to meeting with you. Best regards, KOTC Team
Very engaging!
I’ve used the app before it was an actual app and it was so amazing. The questions are so short and to the point and gives you the whole idea of a topic in a few words to help you remember it for when you are actually doing questions. I realized that when I am trying to study using this app by playing the game it keeps me more engaged and I remember the answer to the question much better. I spent so much money on other materials but this has to be one of the best for the price!

Awesome way to switch up MCAT studying
Found this app via social media and decided to give it a shot. Has been my favorite thing to do when I’m on the go or having some difficulty starting material for the day. Makes MCAT material fun and has a trivia game feel. Definitely would recommend to supplement your studying!
Great resource
Has made studying a lot of fun and easy to do on the go
Great Study Tool
Awesome app for reviewing for the MCAT. Plenty of questions that are well written and challenging!
Perfect on the go Study Tool!!
If you’re studying for the MCAT, chances are it’s behind a desk, in front of a computer or books. The best part about this app is that it allows you to study from anywhere AND still gives you the necessary feedback/explanations when you miss questions. You can even customize the type of questions you receive so you can study specific topics! This app is an essential for MCAT studying!!

soooo helpful (and fun!!)
MCAT test day is in little under a week now and this app has made reviewing fun and easy! i especially love the game-like feel and the option to challenge your friends— keeps it feeling light hearted and takes some of the stress out of studying! absolutely recommend :)
Great for learning and studying science!
This app is a wonderful way to study the sciences, and does it in a creative and fun way. The adaptive question bank is a great tool for studying questions that you might have trouble with. The multiplayer could use some touch-ups, namely in regards to the responsiveness of opponents. However, overall the app is a wonderful learning tool and game platform.

Great questions if you are on the go
This is a great app too look at and quiz yourself aside from other apps like ANKI. It’s actually kind of fun! If pictures and some of the content shared on the Instagram page could be added to the app that would be nice! Overall a great app, I recommended it to friends.
Great App!
Love this app! Great resource for learning and preparing for the mcat!
