Application does not present “all sides”
I use several news aggregation applications and I am always on the lookout for an application which does not skew the news or selectively display their own perspectives. This applications algorithm is the worst I have seen so far at presenting a broad perspective. They are clearly inserting their opinions by only showing some articles.
Once this application gets to a point where they present “all sides”, I would enjoy using interface like this.Pelli

In a world of growing echo chambers, it’s nice to read about the news and also to read about how the news was covered. Additional bonuses include a lack of intrusive, distracting ads and a lack of infinite scrolling/“doomscrolling”. Trust this app, or their website, for your news.Sandfyre

Found All Sides on X, and I really like it. News outlets and aggregators have so much bias it feels more like political tabloids than news, so I appreciate this service. The articles are well curated and representative, and the app is easy to use. Highly recommend!SourLemmy

Incredible App & Mission - Here is some feedback
First off, I love this app and company. AllSides creates a headache free way to sift through the fog and determine what is actually going on in the world. It’s my favorite app on my phone, and I can’t wait to see where AllSides goes in the future.
Feedback: I’ve noticed that the social channels and this app are not in sync. Sometimes I want to post something on my Instagram from the app, and I go to the AllSides Instagram and I find it hasn’t been updated to reflect the app. It would be nice if everything could be uniform across the board with news and updates.Chin. Very Good
Legitimately gives coverage of a wide spectrum of general news articles covering topics labeled either “Right” leaning, “Left” leaning, and “Center”(Thank you..) which is extremely helpful in todays world. Only thing is I’d like to see is a larger variety of news topics daily, but maybe I’m being unfair or just wrong on that one. Overall 5 ⭐️’s. Great download no matter what political party you affiliate with. Don’t limit your news content by simply following one outlet or news channel on TV. This app breaks obvious news narratives that are pushed by certain corporations that are used to win you over which is how most people become bias without even noticing in my opinion. *Cough* “CNN, Fox” *Cough, cough*pskldn

We have to get used to seeing and understanding different viewpoints if we are interested in developing our intelligence and situational awareness. You can't do that by consuming news from a single source. All sides solves this.Shiver Bivy
Finally found a balanced news feed
I don’t want to get all my news from a single source. But you can no longer trust big tech companies to curate news feeds. (Google being possibly the worst offender.) Their feeds only feature sources with an extreme left-wing woke bias. It’s all activism pretending to be journalism, complete with over-the-top name calling and editorializing on stories that should be just reporting facts. They only include sources that are in lock step with government censors who try to suppress any journalism that questions those in power. Or it’s all click-bait “outrage porn” that panders to your preferences.
It took me forever to find a news app that tries to maintain some balance. I love that they prominently display the leanings of the news source, or feature multiple sources for each topic so you can get the bigger picture.
My only critique is that the news feed is too short and prompts you to go to their website for more stories. I should be able to browse most if not all the content from the app itself.Aazeleh
