I have been using their website for a while and was pleasantly pleased to see that the app is available. The ability to see a headline and then read the left, center, and right perspective, or propaganda, as the case may be, makes for an excellent tool.Oz Knozz

AllSides is the best news app I’ve found. You get a synopsis of the three articles — comprised of one right wing, one center, and one left wing news source. You can read all three or whatever you want.

It should be mandatory to get your news from this app. With increased polarization of parties, this group brings together all perspectives to make sure you are at your most informed. This is the greatest app to come out in the past 10 years...breath of fresh air. Ty for everything you do!Hipponotic
Promising
I’m happy with the app and find it helpful in getting a balanced view of our country and the world as a whole. The alerts don’t seem to work. I have them enabled, but after two weeks have never gotten an alert. I will give it five stars if this is ever fixed.TaroBear

Media fatigued
I am SO excited for this app! I follow the All Sides Now instagram account and view the website regularly, but this is much more convenient. I’m so tired of all of the opinion pieces out there published as reliable news (from both sides). I love the practice of calling out the bias from the outset. Balanced news = most informed take!
With the rising polarization and after hearing Jonathan Haidt’s Tedtalks, I committed myself to reading different takes to try to break out of my matrix (or echo chamber). First of all I’ve been charged some unknown amount. Then the article links take me to sites that require a subscription. What good is that?callhome

AllSides is a well thought out fairly balanced source of news. They have a very unique approach to covering key news topics by sourcing news articles from left, center, and right leaning organizations. Their team is made up of personnel from both sides of the political spectrum. For key topics they provide a concise summary of the key facts as well as how the left and right leaning sources are covering the topic. Great idea and great app.lcytes
