Brought one of these following great reviews on line… but unsure who reviewed the company as clearly everyone on here has had the same experience as the unit needs additional software or items to make it work basically.
Mine on the other hand I have additional grievances.
I have had my pants pulled properly down by the fact that after paying £500 for the all signing all dancing unit I now have a postage issue with fedex for an additional £100 due to import charges that Cambox forget to mention.
Just avoid this company, do yourself a favour and buy any other make and save yourself hours of stress trying to down load compatible software just to make it work plus all the hidden extras totalling over £100 not mentioned when ordering

Does not work
I have recently bought the v4pro and am sadly disappointed for such a expensive camera it’s so difficult to use! The app will not allow you to watch videos at all it’s let me connect. My camera maybe 4 times
I’ve even tried watching video playback on the laptop which is also hard work try making them easier to navigateShow lessAngep77

Just spent £450 on a Cambox V4 Pro (June 21) and it’s hopeless. Despite being told you can instantly play back recorded videos using this App, you cannot. End of. Like others have said, it’s only real function is to adjust camera settings. I bought this for my other half for her horse riding, and the ability to instantly play back recordings on her phone was a must have. But no, you cannot. The app is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard! Sadly I cannot give this a ‘no star’ so have to give it one star....it shouldn’t have any...Show lessCommaman2

The app for the v4 pro is not good. The app for the isi3 is much better. I can’t get video from my v4 pro to the app to see anything BNH. With the isi3 I could connect WiFi and download instantly. This new version is terrible and won’t open unless I have the camera WiFi onBeezle65

Not ready for release
Sadly as of late Dec 2020, the app is nigh on useless, it shouldn’t have been released at this stage and this is extremely disappointing for premium expressive product.
Update, as told I’ve downloaded the latest app, I was excited, then sadly again it doesn’t work! Please urgently help, before I ask for a refund....

February 7th and following Cambox’s advice we have downloaded the latest firmware and updated the app. I’m very disappointed, the preview function and replay function still does not work, for me this was the most important part of this camera, it’s crucial to me to be able to see videos on my iPhone. I’m sorry, but this product went to market too soon. Please can someone get back to me right away, let me know if and when the preview/replay feature will be available and then I’ll decide whether to keep or return the camera.Show lessMSE Racer

Can’t see preview or gallery, so you can’t see if the camera is adjusted correctly —- which is the whole point of getting the app. So... it’s kinda useless.nuff147

Doesn’t show preview nor can you review footage as suggested on the cambox website. It’s only functionality is to change very basic camera settings and you can’t even review these changes live. Pointless until updated. Reviewed Dec 2020 after cambox V4Pro purchase. Using with iphone.Lbarky
