  • Not worth the money at all

The page scanner is awful. You will hold it so only a the page you want can be seen and then it somehow grabs 1/3 of the other page and distorts it making it unusable. Then once to finally scan the pages you want it to read, the app randomly closes out on you every few minutes and you have to try to find where you were again. I have another app that scans pages and turns it into perfectly good PDFs that no other app has an issue with, but when I try to import those into this app, it thinks it’s not a PDF.

So in summary, for $50 a month you get an app that can’t scan pages without major issues, won’t import PDFs as it says it does, and crashes every few minutes.

    TRASH! 🗑️

  • Waste of time and money

Don’t waste your time here. First off let’s point out that you’re all is one of the more expensive apps of its kind that offers the least. Only a hand full of voices none of which are AI anything but at least none of them are those robot voices either. Next your platform is basic and rudimentary it’s like the MySpace of apps except I can’t modify it to look pretty how I want and for $50 dollars a month no thanks. You’re scan function is very smooth so kudos for that however you have an option to continue having the voice to read to you and you not be in the app it’s self. Well in my experience you it will work for a minute or two then stop. Go back in hit play again work for another sentence or two then stop and then go back in and it will start all over from the top….. yea for $50 bucks a month this is trash not even with the free trial.

  • this app is terrible for people with no money

stop getting me to buy your subscription, you cost way too much and the benefits are horrible. if you have no money dont bother
  • Too Much $$

I really enjoyed this app but it quickly gave me a pay wall. In order to use most of the features it was $50 a MONTH? As a student I was really hoping this would work without being so much because its one of the few PDF reading apps available and it is a good app. It has helped me a ton with reading documents since I work full time but now I only get the siri voice and have no access to any additional features without paying $600 a year -_-

  • Free Trial Frustration

I have been using the Free Trial for one day now and I love the idea of this app! It really is cool for someone like me who likes to hear and read along with my book. I think the concept and technology is great, but it keeps crashing before I can scan all the pages. Then it makes me start all over which has become very time consuming. I want to keep the service but I’m worried that it will cause more frustration than help, for my $50 per month. Which I would be happy to pay for a fully functioning service like this. I just wish it was more stable and reliable.

  • The app

So I posted about being charged a subscription and wasn’t certain if I appreciated how it worked. I paid to try again for just a week and it started to work but half way into my trip it stopped working again. I think it has potential but I do have some reservations on how it read and how far back I am able to rewind.

  • I messed up.

I downloaded this app for my classes, so basically I used the tree trial thinking it would be free of course I wasn’t using my head. Found out it charged 49 per month. I tried deleting the subscription and tell me WHY it’s not letting me delete it. Worst thing is it kinda went to my fathers account (very bad) and imagine seeing something charged you 50 bucks without knowing u didn’t buy something and apparently someone else did, yeah I know scary. So I'm basically talking to the developer right now, I need my fathers money back. I did NOT mean for this to happen whatsoever so if you can help me out with that then it’ll help a lot, like ALOT.

  • Read back stops abruptly

When the app is reading a website back to me, it will stop abruptly. It’s not paused and the app is still running, it just stops speaking. I can press the pause/play button and nothing happens. I can even shut the app down and start it up again and it will still stop abruptly. I love this app but could you fix this issue please?

  • For the cost it isn't what I would expect

For the amount yu are wanting to charge a person for a subscription - it isn't the best. I would expect for such high pricing it would be more fluid with use and not so chunky in way of being able to listen to text. It should also be easier to start listening to text from a specified section of text.
If it was cheaper in terms of sub then maybe I would stick with it as being able to listen to text is my preferred method due to my adhd and autism - it helps keep me focused on the subject I'm reading about and not skip ahead or not absorb the material correctly.

  • It would be great

I’ve been on the hunt for apps that improve my news intake.
This app has a lot of things I liked in comparison to other ones of tried.
First off, the premium voices are sooo much nicer than the robotic ones offered by other apps. However, the premium price for this app is BONKERS. $50 a month? In this economy? Who came up with that? Absolutely not. I’ll take the robot voice. And I hate the robotic voice…so I just won’t use it at all.
I also just don’t really like the aesthetic, it’s a bit loud, I like some of the more understated ones I’ve seen in the past.
