Doesn’t work when offline
Decided to try out this app and absolutely loved it at first. I travel a lot and like to listen to articles, books, etc while I’m flying. But if there isn’t a constant internet connection, this app doesn’t work and keeps asking to check the connection. I’m not sure why that’s necessary. Especially for pdf files or ebooks downloaded to my phone. The voices are very nice and the sentences are read w/ fluidity as opposed to sounding robotic like most apps. I may have considered paying the requested amount had I been able to use the app offline.Show lessmiranetsolutions
Love it but not worth the $$ due to all the glitches
I love this app. Giving it 1 star because it will close app unexpectedly when reading I cannot get through the few pages I want to read because app closes and when I open it up to continue with it, it will do the same. I have already deleted saved files but Im still having the same issue. It’s very irritating and frustrating. I already reached out a few months ago but nothing has been resolved. Very sad but I will no longer be using app, as I cannot be throwing my money away with this app and all its glitches.Show lessAnneRo22
Couldn’t listen to what I downloaded app for.
I wanted to multitask and listen to some classes online. Got the website over and then read the initial page but in order for me to go into my Academy, I have to sign in the sign in uses Google for me to sign in the button is there, but nothing happens I couldn’t sign in, I could sign in with my Apple ID no problem and the app itself that I use for my academy that’s not allowed just regular email sign in. I’m not sure if this app does not allow Social sign it but I sure hope to see if that is the case that it changes in the future, because so many apps have Social sign in now since everybody can cross post. I was frustrated and finally just gave up.Show less1234$slots
Scam
This company is frustrating me. I wouldn’t think apple would market scam apps.
This app didn’t even work for me. I got it to listen to a speech I was preparing for while I laid in bed. It would read any pdfs I tried. I told me after the 3 day trail it would be less than 10 bucks . However since it didn’t work I canceled my subscription before the 3 days. I was still charged afterwards for 50 bucks! What the heck! I have sent 4 emails as well as have tried to call and they phone listed doesn’t work. I found another phone number listed for them and it went to a weird RSVP confirmation voicemail box for who knows what .
Do yourself a favor and just use Mac for reading pdfs. This company will scam you! I am going to report them and report on my credit card.

This is a good app for when you miss school. I can’t keep focus very well at home. So when I had work to do I felt I could not focus or read so I downloaded this app, scanned the text and it read it to me. I love it five stars👍Carl York12345
The app kept stopping over and over.
When I try toWrite a review on the app it will not let me send. I had to continuously stop and restart the app it would stop in the middle ofA a sentence and I would have to restart the app over and over againQ's MT4

I’ve been looking for a Text To Speech app like this for a long time all the ones that I found either I had to pay for or didn’t have the specific voice that I want. although one problem it’s not a big problem it’s not a problem that you should look out for whenever I choose a new voice It will play automatically. that’s itShow lessmimikyulover6969
Great just wired voice
It’s a good reader I really recommend it if you have any homework that is 3 essays long and if you lose track you got to start all over that is why it is really good for reading especially for books,paragraphs or messy handwriting the only problem is just the voice it has a subscription And I bought it but it doesn’t really work overall it’s a good app. You can understand the voice your success. Overpriced with bad trial version
The trial version gives you full features to read only one page! After that it harasses you mid page to buy the $50/month version. Wayyy overpriced! The voice is robotic and makes a lot of mistakes, at least when reading from a photo of a page. That function is what I downloaded it for and it’s not up to par.Show lessgreader81
