Awful app with hidden fees

Subscribed to premium only to find I can’t enhance my video without paying added extras each time I want to enhance. Beauty filter does not work on videos as it does in the fake promo advertisements

Scam Artist!!

I want to express my concerns regarding my experience with the Youcam app. I purchased a yearly subscription a month ago, but unfortunately, I have not been able to access the service. Each time I log in, I am prompted to upgrade, which has been quite frustrating.

I am seeking a refund for a service that I have not been able to use. I was hopeful when I saw that the developer responded to my previous inquiries, but I felt disappointed to receive the same generic response that I had received in the past. It appears that my previous emails and the screenshots I provided were not acknowledged, which makes me feel unheard.

I would appreciate a more personalized response that addresses my specific issue. It seems like my concerns have not been fully understood despite my efforts to provide the necessary information.

Until this issue is resolved, I feel compelled to share my experience through reviews, as I believe it's important for potential users to be aware of these challenges.

I sincerely hope someone in charge of this app will reach out to me. I’m eager to find a solution, as it’s disheartening to feel like I’ve wasted my money on a service I cannot use. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Accidentally purchased - refuses refund

I was searching for a new video editing app. I opted into the free trial, but it didn’t suit my needs. I forgot to cancel the trial, and was charged for the full year. Immediately upon being charged, I requested the cancellation and refund. I never even used the app. My refund request was denied. I appealed on the grounds I had never used the app, and again, my refund request was denied. Every other time this has happened, in the years I’ve been using Apple apps, the refund was been granted. So while I’ll sure find reason to use it on principle alone, I won’t be giving them more money when my renewal is up.

False advertisement

Right off the bat, I was supposed to get a bundle, I got two apps. First impression is everything, I move on. Then I try the sunglass removal and it's just a headshot and when I try to see the result, it comes back and tells me inappropriate content. It's just my head then I tried again thinking it was a mistake and it does it again so then I go to a much better free photo editor and I tried to edit so it looks like there's a string from a bathing suit going around my neck because that's all you see and then it tells me inappropriate. And top it off and then tells me I can't do it anymore because I've used all my previews which I never got one result or preview because he assumed it was inappropriate content for whatever reason I don't know, it was a headshot. so I'm done with this sloppy editor. To everybody else do your homework much better free apps out there to deal with false advertisement.

Unlawful charge and no access to app

In June my 11 year old used my phone to purchase a game and somehow you can video charge me for a year subscription. It was not authorized. I cannot get a hold of anybody to refund it so I decided to download the app and use the premium CERT that I pay for that do not expire until June 20 25 but every time I attempt to get into my account you guys say no account ID subscription it and I have access to the premium services until June 2025 but I’ve not been able to access this so I’m not paying for a subscription of an app I can use. I never even signed up for I need somebody to get back to me, ridiculous

Worst app ever

It was the worst app ever because never tried to add music to it just said end of the playlist limit and it wouldn’t let me do anything and it kept coming up with ads and everything never buy this app. Thank you. by sucker

Scam Artist!!

Do NOT purchase this app, or ANY Youcam apps, if you don't want to get ripped off! I was charged for a YEAR a month ago, but have been unable to use the service yet! When I log on, it is still asking me to "upgrade"! SHAME ON YOU for taking people's money, with no service offered.

I am interested in getting a refund for a service I have not received for over a month! This morning when I saw the developer responded, I actually got exited to see if there was a solution. However, I’m MORE frustrated now than before, as someone “copied and pasted” the SAME IDENTICAL email, word for word that I’ve received the past 3 TIMES!!! That confirms to me that NO ONE took the time to actually READ my email!! If they did, they surely wouldn’t respond with something I’ve already complained about. Also they would see I have completed all the steps that were requested, AND sent all the screenshots !! Why would the developer send an email requesting what’s been emailed to them 3 emails ago???
Could it be that they could care LESS?? Just bc you type in someone’s name at the top of a pre written letter, does not constitute a personalized solution. I feel I’m BACK to square zero.

I will just continue to write Bad reviews each day starting today, until I get a refund, or the issue has been resolved!

This is the WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I wouldn’t recommend this app to an arch enemy!!

Important Features Don’t Work

The “body” effect/tuning feature does not work and has absolutely nothing to do with body tuning. It’s just random AI stuff that changes the background, scene, border, and adds “bling”.
They advertise body tuning effects but don’t let you see WHAT they actually are until you purchase a subscription. And then once you do, it’s blatantly false advertising and absolutely nothing you actually need or want to use. I’m so sick of these developers using dishonesty and false advertising to rope people into paying for useless stuff. At least be honest and upfront, so I know whether or not I want to spend my money on something.
