Great dev great app
This app is extremely well made and the ability to tie notes across loop points is game changing for me. Pattern mode makes it super fast to try out multiple takes / ideas. Overall very exciting.

And I am glad he did! This just gets it done. Fast, smooth, and easy. Plus, it has plenty of fun little tools to get freaky! I use AUM regularly, and this adds all the sequencing one could need in what is a surprisingly complementary package.

Now on to finding my personal favorite method to record audio from AUM, because there is no need to worry about sequencing EVER gain!

Small in name, big in nature
This is a fantastic update to an already great app. Combine it with AUM and you end up with a pair of tools that are great for any kind of music making. I have tried GarageBand and Cubase for DAWs, and I’m not impressed with either - Atom + AUM is the way forward!

The Bollocks of the Dog
I was going to suggest the knees of the bees, but this thing is far more urgent and important. A brilliant app that’s easy to use and is the best of its kind. If you make music on iOS you need this more than you know....
MIDI piano roll levelled up!
What a slick, musical, ambitious app. It covers the piano roll basics with a really easy UI. Then jumps into deep settings for things like swing and quantize. See MIDI note layers on top of layers. It is also a clip launcher in AUM, integrates with hardware like the Launchpad (colours too), and then has fully scriptable elements for the more adventurous. Amazing work!

Changing appearance
I can’t see how to change the appearance to the dark mode. My appearance is all white and I find the white harder to see. Any advice would be appreciated as I am pretty new to iOS music making

EDIT: The most recent update includes an in-app toggle for switching between light and dark mode. Find it in the top-right "hamburger" menu. By default, Atom 2 respects the iOS dark/light mode switch. You can go to Control Center on iOS and toggle between the two modes. Every other host will update immediately, but the most recent AUM update forces all audio units into dark mode.
