  • Works great, very cute

I find this widget very helpful. One needs to renew the keys on once a year.
  • Perfect for local air quality

Does exactly what I want - shows local air quality in my widgets. Working perfectly for over a year.
  • No longer works on iPhone or watch

I’m made sure it has a location and the api is current. I’ve reloaded and restarted. It’s always blank now.

What happened? If the app is broken say so in the App Store at least.

Apologies for the delay in response, and thank you for leaving a review! IQAir API keys expire after ~1 year, but you can create a new free key and update it in Breathable. We've updated our FAQs to be clearer on this. Please reach out to support if you need more help, but a new free key will get you back to business!
  • The app does not update frequently enough

I was looking forward to using a modern iOS widget for air quality, but this app does not update frequently enough. I am still running the old-style AirVisual widget near the Breathable widget and that widget is always up to date with the latest air quality number. I have to force-quit Breathable to make it update. Please fix this.

  • Broken on Ventura

Was nice while it worked but it hasn't been updated in over a year and does not work at all on Ventura on my M2 Air.

  • Great for anyone who wants to monitor AQ in a single location

This is an ideal use of a widget: putting vital air quality information that’s available but not easily accessible and putting it just a swipe away.

However, it doesn’t help people who need to follow air quality in multiple locations. I need to monitor AQ in three locations (vulnerable family members), and it defeats the purpose of having a widget to have to go into the app to change the location every time I want to check a different location.

Would love to see an update with the option of multiple locations.

  • Simple and delightful 🤗

Does exactly what you want in a usable, fun way. Love the emoji scales! I too had trouble with the widget not showing up in my widget list but the developer helped me solve it and responded to my email in record time! So nice that it supports not just the US too 🌏
  • Excellent app, bumpy start

I initially had issues getting the widget to show, but finally got it working with some help from the developer (excellent support). I'm loving this app. It is really well designed, easy to use and updates in the background.

Sorry you’re having trouble! I assure you we don’t keep the widgets from the list for any reason. The available widget lists on iOS and macOS can be a little... finicky. If you don't see Breathable in the list, try this: - Restart your device - Run the Breathable app once, visit the Widget UI tab and change one or two settings - Check the system list of available widgets again We're working on a brute-force fix for this in the app, but this appears to be an iOS-wide problem at the moment that can happen with any app.
