  • Very cool and useful app here in LA

Nice on the laptop, too. Took a little playing around to get the APIs, apparently not the developer’s fault, though. Had to try twice to find the widget. Helpful developer!

    Developer Response

Glad you got the widget working, and sorry for your trouble! Thanks for the kind words and for supporting Breathable.
  • Doesn’t work

    I would like a refund

    Developer Response

Sorry you’re having trouble. The app does work, but I’m assuming you hit the system bug where the widget doesn’t show up in the list of available widgets. If you don't see Breathable in the list, try this: - Restart your device - Run the Breathable app once, visit the Widget UI tab and change one or two settings - Check the system list of available widgets again As noted by other users, this will resolve the issue. If however you’d still like a refund, please request one from Apple—we definitely support you getting a refund if you’re not happy. Sorry again!
  • Nice!

Had a little trouble getting the widget added to my Home Screen, but the developer was super helpful via Twitter.
  • Cool UI but not working

On boarding is slick. Ui is great. Widget customized is well thought out. Design rocks. But the widgets don’t actually show up in the ads Widget view, so what’s the point?

Sorry you’re having trouble! If you don't see Breathable in the list, try this: - Restart your device - Run the Breathable app once, visit the Widget UI tab and change one or two settings - Check the system list of available widgets again We're working on a brute-force fix for this in the app, but this appears to be an iOS-wide problem at the moment that can happen with any app.
  • iOS is glitchy, not the widget!

Just what I was looking for. Had to restart my device for the widget to show up in the Widget Center, though. On the developer’s website it says:

Open the Breathable app, visit the Widget UI tab, and change one or two settings. Background the app again, and this might convince Widget Center to show the widget.
Try restarting your device, then running the Breathable app once, then looking in the available widgets list again.

  • Very nice Widget, API key is a joke.

Love the Widget, but making users get an API key and enter a GUID I thought was a joke, or just needed for advanced users.

    Developer Response

It’s not a joke, and I’m sorry if it made the initial experience difficult. Unfortunately, getting reliable AQI data from reliable services requires this. The good thing is that it only takes a few minutes and you only have to do it once. I hope you give it a shot—I think it will be worth it.
  • Fantastic simple app

Does one thing very well. Doesn’t harvest data. I love it.

Request: I wish I could track multiple locations. (I.e. my current location and where I plan to vacation). The sad fact that living in the PNW will require searching out a more breathable place to flee to when the fires start.
  • Timely, beautiful, helpful

I was just looking for a widget like this one. It requires some work to set up, but that’s because of the advanced data sources required and not the developer's fault, and the app and its web page make the steps very clear, and web page helped me through an issue where the widget wasn’t available at first.

Once set up the first time it’s smooth sailing. This is as good a launch experience as I’ve had with something this complex!
