  • App is fine

Not sure what these other reviewers are on but the app works just fine. It connects to the light quickly, can turn the light on or off on demand, and creating a schedule and custom lighting profiles is super simple.

Some features are a bit clumsy. The way you name a tank by its dimensions, the touch target for the time of day slider, and the schedule rime selectors could all be a bit better.
  • Minor issues

People state there isn’t a button to turn on the light while on the timer for example to do WCs but there is. It’s the light bulb button. Everything works as it should for me. My only complaint is, sometimes I get repeated errors when I’m trying to connect my phone, I guess I just have to be very close to the light itself.
  • This is the scariest update possible, I think it's just a joke!
  • So bad

This app is useless. The language makes no sense, there’s no instruction and it doesn’t even work most of the time! It tells you you’re not connected until you totally restart it. And even when you’ve programmed some settings, nothing happens!

I bought this light partly because of the app control, but the app is practically useless!
  • Defective light and app

I have never had a light that is more frustrating and defective as this one first sunset and sunrise is only available on preset settings and you can’t even disable the timer so your forced to use it for a light this expensive you should be able to customize and the help section is of no help but I don’t if my pseries 1200 is defective or if it’s the app but this light randomly turns off everyday and for it to turn back on I have to delete the app sometimes more than once than set it up again all for it to do it again in a few hours and now as I’m writing refuses to turn on at all I’m returning it would give 0 stars if I could
  • Worst application ever

Frustration is what you get for money.
  • The new update is better…

It’s much faster going into the lights and adjusting settings. In the latest update there appears to be no way to disable the timers for feeding or cleaning and no way to manually turn the lights on / off so you have to edit your schedule to turn the lights on.
  • Do not download 3.0 app

What was already a terrible app is now even worse than before with the 3.0 update. Clearly they have no idea what they are doing and they don’t listen to what their customers want. Nobody spending this amount of money on an aquarium light wants to use preset light settings, sunrise and sunset only works with the preset light settings! We want custom light settings with sunrise and sunset, we want to be able to quickly turn on and off the light for feeding fish and aquarium maintenance even if the light is off the light schedule. This is not difficult whatsoever for Chihiros, for Week Aqua it appears impossible years later still. The app has always been the number one problem with this light and it should be the easiest part, quickly updated. Waited over a year for an update and the 3.0 update is worse than 2.0. Week Aqua is going to go out of business if they don’t get it together. Anyone want to buy a light?
  • Timer function broken

Please fix the app. The timer function doesn’t work on b1 early, b2 primary, or b2 advanced with my new p900. I set the time to come on and the light never turns on. I have to manually press the power button on the app every day
  • Needs work still

I knew the app would be terrible when I bought the lights but it’s missing some basic features that would make it much better to use.

You can’t turn the lights on or off without selecting apply and waiting for the power button to appear. This wouldn’t be an issue but I have 3 of these lights and I have to go into each one to turn them on or off outside of my set schedule.

It would be nice if you could add the lights to a group and synchronize all the settings and controls.
