    While viewing waters and selecting filters, and you try the back button, takes you to the Home Screen restarting my progress. If you decide to look up something in maps and try to go back to the app(it was kept open), it will take you to the Home Screen. Super annoying.

  • Frustrating Experience with this GoOutdoorsID App

    I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with the Idaho GoOutdoorsID app while trying to purchase a hunting tag. The app's performance was abysmal, causing me to waste hours of my time and ultimately getting kicked out of the queue.

    But the worst part came when I finally reached the purchasing stage. After enduring extremely long wait times, the app suddenly kicked me out of the queue (when it was redirecting me to the site), forcing me to start the entire process from scratch. This not only wasted my valuable time but also left me feeling utterly disappointed and let down by the app's unreliability.

    Considering the importance of timely tag purchases for hunting enthusiasts like myself, this app's unreliability is simply unacceptable. It's disheartening to see how little consideration has been given to improving the app's performance and user interface, especially when technology has advanced significantly in recent years.

    I sincerely hope that the GoOutdoorsID developers takes this feedback seriously and invests in revamping their app to provide a smoother, more efficient experience. As it stands, the current version of the app is an exercise in frustration and wasted time. I will never use this app again when purchasing licenses and tags

  • Poorly designed app

    Ever since the app was implemented, it has bad glitches with severe consequences. Again, it was my turn to buy my tag. Plenty in the que. Then , it says it is“redirecting “ me to another page. I assume its to select and purchase my tag. Nope. I get kicked off and sent to the back of the line. No tag. Again. Happens to a lot of people. I dont even want to give it one star.

  • DO NOT USE

    DO NOT USE THIS APP to buy tags. Just do it on the GoOutdoors website or in person.

    I got a good spot in line this year, made it through the wait and all the way to the front. Got stuck on the part that says “thanks for waiting! You are being transferred to the purchasing page!” and instead it transferrred me alllllllll the way back to the end of the line and said “whoops, sorry about that. It’s been reported but please get back in line!”

    It took 3 more attempts to finally get in (yes I waited in line 3 more times because of the same problem). By the time I got in not a single tag was left and my Idaho season was ruined.

    I’m angry, but mostly at myself for believing a state-funded mobile app might actually work. Silly me.

    This app is great, I can go out where there is no cell service and if I forget my hunters license the very time that a game warden wants to see it, they can scan the barcode in the app! My only problem is that after the latest update, there became a bug that won’t let me search up/through the regulation or past posts. Please fix this as this is the only complaint or even problem that I have had.

  • Amateur App Time

    Horrid app - everything we have come to expect from years of government service. Insists on biometric login or it cycles you back to log in multiple times. Well, Idaho Fish and Game, my biometric data is none of your damned business. Buy it, managed that after slogging through this recycled recycler several times - now I cannot print my licenses. Oh, I can see them, but print even a pdf? Noooooo…. They want $5 for a stupid (get this) “collectible” plastic card. Know what? I don’t want to collect a stupid card - I don’t want to even carry a stupid piece of paper. I have my phone, if one of your agents needs to see my license where there is no phone service (most of Idaho’s great outdoors) I want it on my phone where I don’t NEED internet access. Gad. This app have been developed by a brain-dead leftie (but I repeat myself).

  • Licenses and Tags are not accurate

    Since the update a couple days ago, the licenses and tags are not displaying correctly. I have several people including myself and my kids in the app. My kids Jr licenses are showing under my name. My brother’s name/ID, is showing my tags and licenses….he hasn’t bought anything for this year yet.
