  • Shamefully un-intuitive to use

We keep getting false alarms because the action items in the app are not at all clear. To the app developers: Action items need VERBS: for example “See details of current alarm” is more meaningful than “Rapid Alarm.” Even worse, in an actual emergency, I would have to click through several steps to log in and take action. Imagine hearing gunshots in the hall and then having to mess around with this app.

  • Terrible…doesn’t work

The updated version of this app is absolute trash. It is basically useless from the administrative prospective. There is no easy way to verify rosters. There are too many issues with the app to list. It’s pretty much useless for any of our emergency drills.
  • Old version was better

The previous version of your platform function better. You removed functions such as the comment section when activating an alarm or drill, which causes confusion and problems. Our administrators and first responders used that function to give critical information.

The push notification takes you to the Home Screen, but doesn’t indicate if a drill is happening, which is confusing to users. If you have multiple sites, you have to check your text message (if you received it) to see which site is active, and then switch to that site manually. There is no visual indication of an active alarm in the switch site menu.

There also seems to be a syncing issue that still hasn’t been corrected. Some phones are zoomed in and cannot see all options for accountability.

There is no more visual indicator of new chat, and the chat feature is still buggy after multiple updates.

This new update was a huge regression in functionality.

  • Screen is cut off

I don’t have access to all of the options to check in the students, as the far left and right are cut off. Also it has to refresh between every student- so slow.
  • New Build is a Step Backward

The new interface which was released in July ‘24 is a downgrade. The app used to give users the option to provide notes about the emergency/drill/training which was being activated, this feature is now gone which leads to confusion and the need to additional alarm types that are outside of the “I Luv U Guys” Standard Response Protocol. The app focuses more on establishing accountability than notifying stakeholders of the details of an emergency. If possible school districts need the option to revert to the previous build. There is an issue with user synchronization which causes building administrator accounts to be deactivated, therefore leadership is unable to serve as command during a drill or emergency.

  • App works great

Once a staff member is authorized and allowed access to this app, it’s easy to account for staff and students during an emergency. Great tool to use
  • App Does Not Work

It’s an emergency app, that doesn’t work properly. Can’t use it. What else is there to say
