This version also features video shorts of local makers throughout each filtered view, providing even more opportunities for local makers to be discovered by those interested in handmade and local goods.

The Maker Town™ App is a community tool for discovering local makers, artists, gallery events, and pop-up markets across Northeast Ohio. Users can be notified about art walks, maker markets and shopping discounts happening near them, see images of the types of hand crafted items offered by artisan businesses and art galleries, scan an interactive map to locate artist colonies or public workshops, and watch videos of art making and stories of entrepreneurship.

The Maker Town® App helps makers become more accessible to nearby consumers, whether they operate through a retail boutique, an online store, a fabrication shop, or a pop-up market. Link To The Local Goods You Love™: - Filter for maker businesses across 10 product categories: Wellness, Home Decor, Jewelry, Tabletop, Furniture, Fashion, Wall Art, For Pets, Paper Items, and Packaged Foods. - Browse through colorful images of product examples from each maker business. - Watch videos of local makers and artists sharing their projects and their process. - Learn about upcoming maker events in your region that you can attend. - Link directly to makers at their preferred commerce site when you’re ready to buy.
