Not good

Had to consult reviews to figure out how this app works, or rather doesn’t. Low effort and cheap UX.

Terrible

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Not user friendly. Hard to load money. For an app that should make things easier, it makes them harder. Do better.

You were likely at a facility that did not to accept credit cards at the dispenser, this disables the reload functionality that’s normally built-into the app. Please contact us at support@ontogolf.com

Can’t add funds

Kinda useless if you can’t add funds on the app. Have to walk in into facilities in order to reload.

Agreed. Unfortunately some facilities choose not to accept credit cards through the app limiting its usefulness.

Not useful

Downloaded, filled out a profile, cannot load money into the app.

QR codes have no effect on the ball machine.

This app is useless.
The pro shop is still the best way to go to get range balls.

Great in theory

Great app in theory, but there are so many was it could be better. 1) You have to have the pro shop add funds for you instead of being able to add your own. 2) Funds are only applicable at the same course you added them at when you should be able to add funds to your account and use them at any participating course. 3) It would be easier to just put a credit card reader on the dispenser for self service than it is to use this app

Facilities decide on accepting credit cards via the app/dispenser. Select Pi is most convenient with credit functionality enabled but it’s an optional feature. The ability to use a balance at any range is good feedback and we do plan to implement it.

Very good app

This app was very convenient, it would let me load funds on the account very easily and had no problems.

Add funds via app

You should be able to add funds straight to the app instead of using a card reader. Seems like an obvious feature this app should have

The reload option is now available as an option to each facility.

App works well until wrong barcode

At the beginning this was way more convenient than worrying about demagnetizing cards to go to the range. It was quick easy and kept your balance. Then one day the barcode was wrong at the same range I’ve been going to all along. I tried reinstalling several times. Tried to search online for fixes. Asked the people at the golf course. No go. App is useless now.
