The old times
I will say lobby in 2020 was far better than it was before shutting down, but I have enjoyed all the fights,conversations, and friends I have made because of this app. Lobby helped me realize my self worth and that I can just let go. It was my safe place believe it or not, it may have messed with my mental health a little but it made me as a person a lot better. And I have become more mature, it was fun seeing all the online dating and the rooms where people would just straight up fight or when you would get a random person asking to date. The best thing I learned from this was not just to trust and to not hop right into something, Lobby was one of the best apps I downloaded it will always hold a place in my heart. Hopefully it will come back to us sooner or later.

Lobby
Lobby is a very fun app and is great for making friends! I totally recommend it! but every since they added the new updates such as video call and some other things I don’t feel comfortable using the app. The app has changed a lot since when I first starting using it…and honestly when I think about it the old lobby seems better then the current one.
Every time you host a room you can turns on immediately, it’s really annoying and also makes me uncomfortable. I don’t mind being able to FaceTime with your friends but it aggregates me that you have to show everyone in Lobby your face. I honestly think they add a thing where you can choose to make a Video Call Room or a Audio Call Room. It would be much better.
I do think that Lobby has gotten way more nicer/ kinder from the recent updates. There used to be a lot of young kids and etc.
but honestly yeah..btw I started playing on Lobby in 2021 and now the app has changed way too much. just wanted to let people and the owners know.Show lessgabe my horse
Horrible Update
This app used to be good. But now with the new update it became horrible! You literally have to buy lobby premium or whatever to be on the app for an unlimited time. I wasn’t able to join anymore rooms for some odd reason because it said I had only 0 minutes left on the app and I wasn’t able to join any room, even my friends room. I was only able to join the one minute call which was stupid. I really hope lobby goes back to how it was because many people are leaving this app because of this new horrible update. I am not! About to spend 10 dollars just to literally have a moving profile picture and unlimited lobby time. I really tried to give this new update a chance but this really pushed me to my last limit. I hope this app goes back to how it used to.

This app is going downhill
I used to use this app regularly for near and about a year to maybe a year and a half. During this time period there have been a-lot of general changes to the app that were both good and bad. Unfortunately though they have now stared to roll out a premium version of the app out of nowhere and now they have started to charge you after a certain time period, in order to just talk to people on this app I have now had to make several accounts and I honestly feel like the allowed time period to actually use the app to communicate with people is too short, especially given the fact that the allowed time period is based off of monthly usage. The app is great but this current money grab is too much for me to rate this app any higher.Show lessGegizzles
I miss old Lobby
I got this app when it was first introduced around a year ago and I stopped using it for a while, I don’t remember why I stopped but I loved going into random groups to meet people and just match whatever vibe or energy was in that room. I just remembered it existed so I updated it, opened the app and it’s completely different than what I remember. Don’t get me wrong it’s a cool new concept and everything but I want things back the way they were and I think this maybe should’ve been a separate project. Here’s what I think about the app
I would have put five stars, but here what changed that: It used to be fun when you were able to scroll through rooms that were already made on public that way you could choose which room you wanted to be in and read the names of the room that way you know what you might be getting into to when you join, but now you took that feature out completely, so now I don’t use it at all bc there is no one to talk to anymore, so if y’all put it back, it’ll deserve five starsShow lessBladeSkire
Lobby’s the best app I’ve ever had except..
I love lobby, I’ve made so many amazing friends and I feel safe using it, but lately people have been giving complaints so now you can’t go into any public rooms. I totally understand why lobby changed this, but now the app is just missing its spark in my opinion. Yes there were a few of annoyances about the public rooms, but now Its hard for me to make any new friends and personally I don’t really want to be friends with all of my friends other friends. LOBBY PLEASE FIX
ok so listen whoever reads this and is able to fix the glitch there is this thing where is I am in a room AND IM NOT GETTING KICKED FROM THE ROOM BTW and I click on a different app like lets say Minecraft and I’m in a room call it will kick me out of lobby and I can’t hear no one and can’t talk AND I know I’m out of it because when your in a call and you click the home button it show a green line at the top to say I’m in a room disappears so please PLEASE I HAD TO MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT AND LOSS ALL MY FRIENDS CAUSE OF THIS STUPID SO PLEASE ON MR BEAST PLEASE FIX IT!!Show lessfs hzhr xmuthe

lobby is a great app but they still are having some issues, and i got banned for no reason so i’m still wondering why. but overall download lobby it’s great but just to tell you, is a lot of people are homophobic, curse A LOT, and are just showing bad thing , oh and one more thing is some people also out there pfp as stuff that is just disgusting and there names that they make are as bad as the pfp. lobby i just need y’all to work on banning people like that which mine was good. but before y’all decide to download lobby make sure you know this is all that’s gonna happend and read some reviews they mite help aswellShow lesse3333e
Good app, be careful though
Lobby is overall a good app to use for friends— it has some cool features, privacy settings, and other such things like that. Sometimes the app can be a bit laggy at times, but it is normally just a common annoyance that doesn’t mean much.
However, my real complaint is not necessarily about the app itself, more so about some of the people on it. One time, my friends and I were just hanging out in a room while talking, then these kids join it and screen share very inappropriate content, which could be considered borderline pornography. My friend kicked them and locked the room afterward. This app is just a hub for toxic, dirty-minded little kids, so always leave your room on ‘locked’ or ‘friends’ if you want to avoid random people from joining.
