I recently found out about DIVE Studios last year (2020) and have listened to there podcast ever since! When I found out they where releasing this mindset app I was so excited! I’ve always knew Jae was a deep thinker and wise - after listening to his mindset my mindset and perspective changed. It gave me a new perspective on life. I suggest you download the app now and have an open mind to what your about hear because you may cry, laugh and really think about how society around us really molds your life. It either changes or breaks you but it make you who you are today.
I really appreciate the mindset app it’s so intriguing to me to see someone who lives a totally different life style from me but still has me relating to them. So far it has been nothing but true honesty and authenticity; it truly is getting to know the thoughts, expressions, and experiences of these creative people. Despite idols being “overshadowed” by the what they are supposed to be they are coming out to further connect to society in a way that makes them present themselves as their true selves. I’m so happy that they are helping others not feel alone (emotionally) but rather make us as listeners feel like a friend. I hope to see more K-idols or anyone else come on and share their MINDSET with us.
To all The Tablo Podcast listeners, and those who missed the podcast, there’s more. Upon listening to it, I laughed and cried. There is wisdom to the audio collections. I’ve been a fan of Epik High since my freshman year of high school in 2006. I knew of Tablo from watching Return of Superman and listening to his music, but I didn’t know his entire story. His experiences were really relatable. Listening to him talk, I think back to when I lost my best friend and how hard of a time that was. He talks about having a team, even if that just consists of just you. I legit cried when he talked about how his wife was ride or die for him. I am a huge fan of his family in Return of Superman! They were so endearing and I love hearing about them! Because it made me think of my best friend. Even though she’s physically gone, I know she is the same. If a comet were to hit the earth or if I have fallen to my lowest point, I know she would be there for me, in some way. It reminded me how I have a friend. In my friendship team, I have my friend and another friend. Just two. Listening to him talk about his small family reminded me that I wasn’t alone. The takeaways I got from listening were you will get through this scene, find the humor in your challenges, and that there is beauty in those challenges.
Sometimes you need to hear someone else’s perspective on something to be able to make sense of a situation, move on past a hardship, or even to empower you to follow your dreams. Mindset is a true gift, allowing you access to poignant and revealing conversations with well-known artists( as of this date, Eric Nam and Epik High’s Tablo). Whether or not you have experienced the same things, each collection provides insight as to how these artists handle both the highest of highs as well as the lowest of lows. This app breaks the barrier of preconceived notions about infallible role models and makes you want to better yourself, while also embracing what already exists in you.
Sometimes it seems like just listening to Tablo speak is the equivalent of turning to music in order to figure out what you’re feeling and being comforted by it. Whenever he talks about emotions that I personally find difficult to express, he understands it all and he’s so eloquent but can somehow say things simply to the point where even I get it. Right now everyone is going through something. For those times where it feels like it’ll never get better, I think having something like this app, having Tablo there to listen to while feeling like maybe you too are being seen/heard is helpful. Mindset is a unique experience that I’m impressed with but having a peek into Tablo’s mind is interesting all on it’s own. For those that know of him, well, you know how dark that can be but also how brilliant and beautiful. For those who don’t, you are really missing out! When I first heard Eric Nams music in 2018 I immediately fell in love. As I grew to learn more about him I felt like he was so open and real. This app is everything I could have ever wanted! He is such an open and honest guy and that’s the best thing I could listen to when I am going though life. Life gets tough but he’s here to show it’s ok and that you will get through it and I really appreciate it. I’m exited for this app to grow and get to know more artists in an honest perspective. The Dive Studios has brought me a lot of joy in the past year with the struggles of quarantine and feeling excluded.
I love this app so much! Eric has been there for me since the beginning of quarantine whether it’s through his Instagram lives or podcast episodes or cute Instagram posts. Listening to mindset makes me feel like listening to a friend and it makes it even better coming from someone who I really admire. Listening to it has allowed me to learn about a different side of Eric, a side that shows the struggles it took to get to where he is now. Not only does it make me admire him more but it also gives me hope that everything will be okay and what I am going through is just a phase that will fade. I love Eric very much and this podcast makes me love him even more! Thank you for this much needed podcast! ♡︎
Honestly, i just wanted to check this app out because of Eric Nam. And now that I’ve checked it out all I can say is thank you for this incredible app!!! I’m so happy that this app can be used as platform where artists can open up to their fans about the sides we usually don’t see from them and about the things they go through! I’m always listening to podcasts (Dive Studios) so I really really like this app and the fact it’s trying to make people live a better and healthier lifestyle. Thank you, this app has motivated me and inspired me for the better. Once again, thank you Dive Studios and Eric Nam for this app! I know it will change many people’s lives!! <33
I have downloaded other apps in the past hoping to have peace within myself. I have trouble sharing my feelings and it does affect me that I’m never enough even though I try to be. Not the best, but at least enough. I have not been satisfied in the past and still struggle with my own thoughts. “I think too much and I hate it.” I think that knowing that the people you look up have gone through similar stuff like you are right now, gives you emotional relief. It makes you think that if they were once like you, then you can also become them. It’s amazing how Eric shares his struggles and trusts us (I’m guessing 🤣) enough to talk about it. I know it’s hard saying what you feel and I’m sincerely thankful. Thank you all for this, really. ❤️
I hardly ever write reviews but this app has truly changed my life. From multiple family deaths and travel plans that would’ve drastically helped my career as an artist along being canceled, to being quarantined due to Corona virus for months on end, 2020 was the hardest year of my life. Going into 2021, I wanted to be hopeful for a better future but it is extremely difficult to be positive when you feel like you have no control over your own life. While listening to my weekly serotonin boost (dive pods lol), I heard about Mindset and instantly downloaded it. From the very first episode, I felt like Eric was speaking directly to me. As someone trying to make it in the entertainment industry, it’s really comforting to hear about the struggles and hardships someone as successful as Eric has faced and overcome. Honestly, there are so many moments I feel like it would be easier to just give up on my dream, but having a mentor as genuine and inspiring as Eric truly keeps me going. Last year really took a toll on my mental health but with the Dive Studios family by my side, I never feel alone. To Eric Nam and the Dive Studios Staff, thank you from the bottom of my heart✨
