Not inclusive for the sober community

If you look at this app’s socials, they claim they are inspiring those who are “sober curious, or not drinking at all”. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I downloaded the app in hopes to introduce my partner to it. He’s recently sober. Well, the first product recommended to me has thc in it, the very thing he’s recently sober from! Featuring products with other substances in them just implies that it’s a replacement for people recovering from alcohol addiction (and I’m guessing that people recovering from alcohol addiction are a huge user base for this app). It’s irresponsible and dangerious to create an app that supposedly caters to sober people and then try to sell them products that have substances in them. This app is just a scam using a marketing strategy to take advantage of people seeking sobriety.

Everything alcohol-free all in one place!

This app is exactly what I needed to help me discover new drinks to try and cool places to visit for my sober lifestyle. It's a literal encyclopedia of the non-alc world and saves me so much time and effort trying to research everything. I just open the app and Better Without has done the hard work for me. Pointless

I already know a few gas stations and grocery stores around town that have a very small selection of NA beers, but I downloaded this app thinking I’d be able to broaden my scope.

And what I was really hoping for was to not have to call ahead to bars, sheepishly asking if they might carry something I can drink besides soda if I go there with my buddies.

But nope, according to this app I need to drive 30 min away to find one bar that carries a single NA beer. It doesn’t even list the stores I already know of. No help at all.

Your aim of not having to call ahead is a big reason for creating the app so we are sorry we didn’t have any venues near you. Discovering drinks, ratings, where to buy online and in physical venues is the core features of the app. We are working very hard to expand the venues listed, we now have over 1500 but of course this is still a small amount. Can’t buy anything!

I downloaded this app in hopes that I could quickly select and buy my zero proof alcohol alternatives without going online. Nope! I just get taken to the Better Rhodes site whenever I want to purchase a single item. Dude, I was already going to the site to buy my things, I don’t need an app to direct me there!🤬 If I want to look for alcohol alternatives, I can just google it. I don’t need an app for it!

Helps me find alcohol free wine

I hate waking up the next day feeling groggy after a few glasses of wine and I only drink about 2 glasses but I love alcohol free wine as I wake up feeling fine and no problems also I can’t tell the difference with some of them and this app helps me find new wines to try very happy x

Love this app!

Find this app super useful - especially as I’m looking for low alcohol options. It’s easy to navigate and the filter functions mean I can easily find what I’m looking for. Looking forward to trying some of the drinks I didn’t even know about!

A well designed and much needed app

This is a very well designed app filling a much needed gap in the market. Finding alcoholic drinks is very easy, but it’s a challenge to find nonalcoholic drinks (excluding soft drinks and juices). It’s great to see an app giving a helping hand and making it easy for people to find non alcoholic drinks. Well done!

Easy to use and a great tool for people new to the alcohol free universe

As my dad and I has recently gone alcohol free, this tool (though new) has helped us both to firstly realise what we actually like to drink and then to discover what’s out there.

My dad isn’t very tech savvy and has commented on how easy it is to use the app.
Must say I agree! :)
