No engagement in the app
I have this app installed for a while and people just simply don’t use it. There were a couple of complains or so but no gatherings organizing. Feels like a community needs a moderator or it just not that valuable.Blooming_lilac
Great but needs improvement
I wanted a way to connect with my neighbors and OneRoof did that. There are some issues:
- iOS app share link does not work on desktop browsers
- app feedback channel is weird. Am I sharing to OneRoof staff or residents? if the latter, why???
- “View all chat rooms”… I want to know the activity of the chat rooms before joining.
- Mixing 1:1 chats and channels on the same list… weird.
I feel like a lot of these UX flows have been solved by IRC and chat rooms decades ago. Just check out MSN messenger 👀Show lessLeadingTune
Doesn’t allow me to upload photos
Even after selecting photos that the app can access via iOS settings, I’m unable to upload photos. I am quickly returned to the screen where it prompts me to open settings.AgedMeat
Great idea
Love the concept and sometimes it works great, but I’ve found recently I’ll get a notification from the app and then when I open it, the app will not “load” and show any new things. So sometimes I am able to see messages and sometimes not, which is lame. My app is updated and hard closing it then opening it does not fix the issue. I hope they figure out this glitch because this is an awesome app.Show lessrunnaway1234
Glitchy
Super glitchy. I’ll get notifications that someone has sent a message then when I click on it it refuses to refresh, even after closing and reopening the app, and my phone. My own messages show up as new messages.Bibbiesss
No moderation
App works fine for me but no one is really assigned to moderate, therefore you end up seeing really repetitive or toxic conversations occur. Everyone just complains about issues and hates on management and it’s difficult to filter out. As a condo owner, do your research before buying the place.ai.mango
Cannot load photos to send
Cannot access my photos when I want to sent just shows a black screen not even loading even though all permissions are allowed in settings:( still doesn’t work after reinstalling. Very disappointedtaotaodear
Great Concept, but…
The OneRoof app is a great concept. Moving to a new city or area can be difficult and the app concept of joining different groups in your community is great. However, there appears to be a bug that does not allow me to read any group chats. I receive notifications, but opening the chat reveals a blank screen. I’ve tried logging out and back in, restarting my devices, and re-downloading the app. Unfortunately it makes the app unusable for me at the moment.Show lessJoey14312
Fun app!
Enjoying this app! It’s a great idea to be able to connect with neighbors. Already have met some folks I didn’t know and planning some upcoming events. Excited to see how this app grows.SongSaladFan

I was invited by a friend to attend the first OneRoof event here in Miami and I immediately decided to sign up and organize events in my building too. The idea is very good, a nice environment for people who want to get to know each other, discover new faces and make friends.lelldc
