I am using this tool as a way to find what speaks to me each day and notice the gentle connection I have with the world around me. I see that the images that draw me in are often parts of me that are being reflected out in the world. There is some irony in the fact that the phone is a device intended to connect you to the whole world, and it often disconnects you from the immediate world you live in.
This app helps you to change that.

Although the name of the app might indicate its prayer or religion orientated, I believe this a much broader concept...
Though daily exercises this app will help you focus on life and your immediate surroundings through a form of meditation with your phones camera.

Use your phone to get closer to yourself
Usually the phone takes you away from yourself and your environment. What’s amazing about Photography as Prayer is it does the reverse, helping you focus on the things that matter to you and the place where you are, now. I love using this app. I’ve also shared it with my teenager and tween, and they’ve spent hours on it. It’s nice to give them an app that is good for our minds and our souls, too.Show lessEK in NYC
