Always disappointing.
Superficially looks ok but it remains quite a sad neglected outpost with the bizarre product placement of junk food taking pride of place in the middle of the store. Instead of playing to Al Osra’s strengths of high quality, imported and healthy produce it tries to compete with the myriad of nearby cold stores and and with limited space the supply of quality things that are hard to buy locally, suffer. The organic and health food section gets progressively smaller and more unreliable and the snacks biscuits fizzy drinks and chocolate threaten to take over the entire store.
It would be lovely to see an experienced enthusiastic new manager in there who knows his/her products and who interacts and communicates with customers. It seems like Amwaj must be the equivalent of Siberia for managers… they come, they make ever more weird and confusing changes - mainly hide in their office, then leave. Always.
