Broken again
This app doesn’t work again, and for the 3rd time since buying my Lucca A53, I am stuck using questionably-safe remote switched outlet adapters on my 2200-dollar machine. I don’t trust this setup, but I also don’t trust La Spaziale to actually fix the app in the long term. I will be working on my own phone app to get around this - it will be free for home users.

Works just fine - happy to have it
It’s not sexy, but it does the trick. Hot machine ready to use every morning.
Extremely poor functionality.
Please, I beg you, it cannot possibly be that complicated or expensive to hire someone to build something that actually works. This app is abysmal. Lucca A53 mini is a wonderful machine, though!
App does not work
Won’t recognize my machine. I’ve reached out to the company I bought from and they have not been able to hear back from La Spaziale at all. I think the app/Bluetooth feature shouldn’t be listed at all.
Works now
Finds my La Spaz immediately, timer function works without fail, and the time sync seems to work as well. I believe it’s getting DST changes as well? The time sync screen doesn’t actually show time info in the window - so still a bug or two here and there. That said, it’s still way more convenient to use this app than buying the timer module. And you only need to setup this app once so it’s not like you need to be dealing with it every day. And because bluetooth reaches across my apartment, I don’t necessarily need to be next to the machine to change these settings.

Now it works!
As previously mentioned in the reviews, it wasn’t working at all. Went out of town for three days. After we returned, I noticed the machine was turning on and off at weird times. I was stumped. This happened for about four days. I decided to check the app and it didn’t crash! The app isn’t super intuitive, but after syncing the time to my phone and setting each day of the week, with two slots on weekend days, it’s working like a charm—so far!

Works!
I was a little nervous to buy the Lucca A53 given all the negative reviews but I can report that (for me) version 1.2 (while not intuitive) is definitely functional.
Sales pitch, not a functioning App
It will turn your machine on, at completely random times. But I’m convinced they aren’t even trying with this app. Try to set the current time of day and the App crashes. Every time. Try to set the times you want the machine to turn on, about the same. Error message after error message. The app is only so they can claim they have one. You learn after you buy it, that’s was just a scam. I like the A53 otherwise.

App isn’t working
I purchased an A53 Mini because of this feature being available. It doesn’t work properly and it preventing me from being able to use my machine at the time I need to. Please update this app!
App not working
App hangs up after connecting to espresso machine. Brand new machine. Will not synch clocks. Needs app revision. This is a Lucca A53 from Clive coffee. They advertise this works but it does not.
