Not good

This app crashes at the worst time, really bad opening when I wanna read Quran or duas, I really don’t recommend it. Whenever I really want to use it that’s when it loads forever and never shows up.

As Salaam Alaikum
A great app. Make it easier to copy paste and share.

My favorite and daily app to use!

Thank you to Ayesha & the team behind Daily Muslim! I don’t usually write reviews for apps but this has to be one of my favorite if not my number 1 favorite app to becoming a better muslim. Now for my detailed review…

Pros:
1. Design: I love how the design is so seamless and everything is very easy to navigate and understand. The aesthetic is very beautiful!

2. Prayer tracker: I use this app everyday to track my prayers and it feels so nice to be able to see how much you’ve completed in a day!

3. Qibla compass: Sometimes I am at a place where I’m not sure where to face the Ka’bah so this is absolutely useful and I greatly appreciate it.

4. Quran, dua, surah and hadith: I love learning more about Islam and to be able to easily read the Quran from my phone is the best thing ever!

5. Favorites: I am a premium subscription member and I appreciate that I am able to bookmark my favorite materials from the app!

I have rated this app 5 stars but there are some suggestions that I would like to make. My suggestions are listed below.

Suggestions:

1. Period tracker option for women: It will be a lot easier to track on what dates we are on our periods and it won’t be considered as a missed prayer.

2. Monthly/yearly statistics for prayers: I am a recent revert and I would love to see my progress over the months and years. Being able to see progress will help keep the individual motivated and they can see where they can improve so if the statistics were shown it will be much appreciated!

3. Islamic Calendar: Not necessary but an Islamic calendar included in the app will be absolutely useful to prepare for a lot of Islamic events in advance like Ramadhan, which brings me to my next point…

4. Fasting tracker: To complete the whole experience a fasting tracker would definitely be useful! I also love love love the design of this app so I know the developer will do a great job at implementing this!

5. Sound to read the Quran: I am not very good at reading Arabic and so I don’t feel very confident with my pronunciation of even some of the transliterations. If I could hear someone say it then I will be able to repeat what is said better and I can learn to read the Quran better this way and I believe others will benefit from having sounds as well.

6. Islamic history/stories: More resource to learn about Islam! I love learning more about my religion and would love a huge library to read more about Islam 💗

This app is honestly my favorite and I would love to see more updates coming for it! There is only one thing that was an issue for me which is written below.

Cons:

1. Prayer alerts: Sometimes I get notifications and sometimes I don’t. For fajr I turned on the sound alert but I only got the notification in text and no sound alerts at all. I missed my fajr prayer but I guess I didn’t expect it to not work that well. If this could be fixed I will greatly appreciate it ✨

Once again thank you to Ayesha and team for making this app and I hope you guys continue to develop it! May Allah accept all your prayers and duas and may Allah reward you for your good deeds 🤲🏻💗✨

Not a great start for a paid subscription

Notifications do not go off, unable to use the tracker feature or view goals. Keeps prompting to sign up for premium membership despite having this membership and then stalls on a screen saying you are already a premium member. Will this be fixed?

Prayer Alarms

The prayer alarms aren’t consistent, therefore I don’t always receive notifications for prayer.

Response from developer

We will check on this! Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Good

Good app helps me learn n click on the app here and there for the trivia questions very good thank you

prayer times

seems like a rlly good and useful app but it doesn’t give me the option to change my prayer times to the hanafi. In Sha Allah they will soon update

HomePod alarm feature

Would love if the fajr alarm could have an option to connect to your Apple HomePod speaker or another Bluetooth speaker so the alarm could somehow play from there instead of your phone! Im not sure how this would work with the app itself, but I’ve been looking for a way to seamlessly have my Apple HomePod play fajr athan at the correct fajr time every day. Obviously the time changes each day so it’s hard to manage from an alarm standpoint (otherwise you have to manually do it each time). If somehow the app could connect with HomePod for the fajr athan, it would be great.

I like to keep my phone off during the night but my homepod stays on always. Otherwise a good app- I love the no ads, even on free version!

Bugs.

Beautiful app, beautiful concept however too many bugs. Prayer times were off with no option to alter or check location on the app. Qibla was off almost 180 degrees. Click something and it open something you didn’t click. Would be the perfect application if it didn’t have so many bugs. I can’t use the app on its own without an accompanying app so seems a bit pointless to have with so many issues. Love everything else about the app.

Asalamu Alaykum

May Allah reward the efforts put into this app to benefit the ummah. I just wanted to make note concerning some on the virtues/recommendations put into the notes on the surahs and that they should always be sound in their source.
