The app doesn’t give you maps for free, which is annoying because I can’t seem to be able to get the free trial.LouieD1504

So I purchased the Dark Sky app and I could get forecasts down to the minute with excellent accuracy. Now Apple purchases and I lose the app?????? Those that paid for DS helped them get to a point where they could be bought out. Apple should have offered the premium version free of charge to Dark Sky purchasers.
Weather for a $9.99/ month???? My dog has excellent accuracy of telling me when a storm is approaching. I think I may use the $9.99/month to buy her treats.Show lessOWM1962

I loved Dark Sky which was acquired by Apple and was supposed to be incorporated into Apple Weather. Unfortunately, many of my favorite features of Dark Sky aren’t found in Apple Weather even though they killed Dark Sky. I ride bikes a lot and want to know current and projected wind speed and direction. Even though I have the premium version, I don’t get hourly wind direction. Additionally, I loved that Dark Sky had the Doppler radar satellite mapping thing so you could see the rain coming and going. This doesn’t have that either. It does have a way higher price—so that’s awesome. If I’m missing these features because they just aren’t easy to find or readily available, please let me know. Or maybe just resurrect Dark Sky?Show lessRad dude 2

You have to activate « display wind » in the settings tab. Radar maps are coming soon. Nice layout, seems to be accurate.
Only issue is that you have to pay subscription per month without yearly discounted price. That’s why I’m canceling my trial. Overall good app.DarcoPolo

This app is very informational and tells you the weather from any place. This app tells you the wind pressure and the degrees. I recommend everyone to get this app.Cottoncandy5589
