Nice chill game
Seems like a nice game to play when you want to while away some time and want a match three building combo
Virtual City Playground… but worse
This game is basically Virtual City Playground… but worse. The original game (Virtual City Playground) was very fun to play albeit it being challenging to get gems to enhance your progress. They decided to make it 10x worse by requiring you to play horrid tetris-style mini games (which some people really hate) in order to get Energy to complete building tasks. These tetris-style mini games become increasingly harder. I want to enjoy a methodical creativity game, NOT stress my brain out with useless boring overcomplicated puzzles – if I wanted that, I’d download bloody tetris!
The creators (G5 Games) have clearly given up on Virtual City Playground as they haven’t updated it for 5 years, and this game is the reason why: they realised that making things impossible with gems was no use as most people didn’t want to pay for them, so they decided to make it worse for free players to try to entice even more in-app purchases with a “health” feature, which depletes every time you fail the tetris-style mini games. In order to restore your health, you have to wait a few hours OR pay an insane 9 gems, the latter of which are VERY hard to obtain for free.
I really hope they scrap this awful rendition and update the original and still the best: Virtual City Playground, including bug fixes. I can’t play the original because the game crashes when loading because it’s not been updated for so long.

Love this game.
I played the older version of this game and really enjoyed it. The new version is pretty much the same, except for the match 3 game and gems. I wish the match three game were less slow.
Focus seems to be on ensuring players have to pay to play
The game seems to be designed to ensure you have to pay to play; a refocus on a balance where paying moves you quicker instead of stopping play without it

Love the game but energy should accumulate like it does in the other games, I shouldn’t have to keep playing a match game to get the energy, Property should be a lot cheaper to buy also!
Stuck on level
Can’t get passed this level it’s super frustrating
Entertaining
The levels to get energy to build gets harder with each level, but builds confidence when you beat a level you thought was too hard.
Fun and easy
Like all other G5 games it’s a great match 3.
Really Enjoying this Game
This is my favourite city-building game, because it’s fast-paced and keeps you occupied when relaxing at night. I hope everyone at G5 continues supporting this game, because it’s awesome. 👍🏻
