Applicatio optima!
Best Latin Resource Available
Educational and fun
Just a way to charge $99 for free material
Everything this offers: dictionary, background play, books, etc. is all free online, and tbh it’s pretty sketchy they’re charging so much to access Lingva Latina.
You don’t even realize what material is locked until getting through the 4 page (what appears to be AI generated introduction). I have to assume some of the stories were created with the same method. I’m so tired of apps like this being labeled “free (with in app purchases)”.

The vast amount of the material in Legentibus is original and unique: for example, a lot of the beginner books, as well as ALL of the audio recordings, have been produced, with much love and labor, exclusively for Legentibus, and are available nowhere else. The texts that are based on free resources have all been carefully edited and corrected, and supplied with vowel length marks. The Latin language itself is of course a timeless entity that is free for anyone to enjoy and study. What Legentibus offers is a unique learning experience: Latin texts, classical as well as new and original, read aloud by renowned experts, presented in a unique and motivating user interface, with commentary and dictionaries at your fingertips. This is all made possible by the support of our loyal, appreciative and enthusiastic subscribers, without whom Legentibus would not exist.

Thank you for the great review!
Good learning resource

Salve! Thank you for the 5 stars! Are you referring to Familia Romana? Unfortunately, when licensing the rights to Familia Romana, they did not allow the use of the marginal notes and illustrations. Note however that you can tap on any word and get an English definition. We are working to implement an integrated Latin-Latin dictionary.
Misleading
I like Latin because I am a Christian. I am prosecuted by Muslims in western countries.
Useful for a wide variety of Latin readers!
Scholars agree that Romain texts were written to be heard rather than read silently. Daniel has provided us and those we teach with a convincing and engaging text performance to hear and read at the same time. Other than participating in a Latin immersion workshop with highly skilled presenters, I can think of no better way to improve one’s sense of authentic Latin usage than to spend time every day with Daniel’s text performances.
