  • Great Reporting

I was reluctant to switch from paper to digital for my news. The switch has been great! Getting the news wherever I am in an easy to use format fas been a pleasure. Contrary to what I had expected, I read more of the paper now. I’m so glad I made the change.

I enjoy getting my news via the paper and my phone. Especially when I’m out of town the phone keeps me up to date on what’s going on at home.
What I don’t like is when I log on and the message is that I’ve run out of whatever and need to subscribe or sign in. I’m already a subscriber and that message drives me crazy. Especially if I’m out of town and my password does’t work.
I’m 83 and can only keep one password in my head at a time! Just keep me connected, please.
    Thank you.

  • Daily Herald

I just a short few days ago signed up for online. It is quite nice having both the text and formatted pages of newspaper as a choice to read. A great Snohomish county news read.
  • Terrible app

I paid for a subscription. Now, 2-3 times a day, I get notifications of news stories. I ONLY GET TO READ 1 A DAY. If I want to read the rest of the news stories they tell me about, it’s another $11 a month. Absolute trash. To cancel a subscription, you have to call a number, press several buttons to get through a robot, and then tell them all sorts of information that they shouldn’t need.

  • Works well

A great way to get the news. I tend to use the live news option now. Including the actual newspaper look where you can click on the article makes me feel like there may be a day that paper papers return!
  • Herald app

Love reading the paper this way. Miss all the fish wrap and packaging material I used to have left over, but the trees said, “Thank you .” Don’t like the little reminder that says my reading time is up. I’m retired. I’m old school. I still read 80% of every daily paper.
  • Almost like holding a paper

I have had a subscription to the Herald for decades. I have witnessed the paper shrink in size in order to continue providing the Snohomish community with news. I do prefer a “paper” newspaper, but I am so glad that online is available and the Herald is still in production.
  • A great app

The app gives you a chance to see both the print version and electronic version of the paper daily.
  • Great Digital access to hometown newspaper

I personally have been a subscriber to the Herald for 40 years. I have been a digital subscriber also for a number of years. I am very happy the the digital version of the paper. I am able to keep up on things when we travel around the world.

Keep up the great work of local journalism.
    Much appreciated

  • Everett Herald App

The Herald app is easy to use. There are choices in the way you can read it. I like reading it like a physical newspaper so I can do that. I highlight articles I want to read and it switches to that and I can read it entirely. You can also print the puzzles or any article. It’s a different way to read the newspaper but I like it.
