The recent update now makes reading on phone a pleasure instead of a chore. Formatting is good, navigation is easy, and going from print edition to current news is a nice feature.djmills1

Tremendous Improvement
I have to hand it to Heraldnet their new app is one of the finest newspaper apps I have ever used, the best of any WA State paper. Almost perfect.
However unless you’re a loony leftist you
still won’t appreciate their political “news” or editorial comment (which are often one in the same).
I assume they figure that’s who predominantly comprise their readers so they cater to them and insult the rest of us.
It’s worth using for coverage save those two subjects, I enjoy that immensely.Show lessNeutral Observer
