Response from developer
Version 1.2.2 has just been released and resolves many crashes. I hope it fixes the editor for you, but if not please reach out to ‘powerwidgets@buildpassed.com’
It’s fine :D
crashes
also after i have made one widget and go to make another- when i edit it, it wont let me edit the info of it and it kicks me out of the editing bit.
works for like one widget, anything else it crashes or kicks you out the options.
Huge promise but still broken
28.03 update – I’ve just updated the app and while it has become more responsive, unfortunately it’s still very fiddly trying to achieve certain results. I’m trying to create a clock widget and use my current wallpaper as a background, inspired from a template example, but resizing and moving the image doesn’t work properly. Still looking forward to seeing it working though! It’s looking good so far. The possibilities of the customisable widgets seems excellent, but unfortunately the app is completely broken and nothing works. Pressing ‘add’ to add a layer to a widget does nothing most of the time and when it does work, ‘edit’ doesn’t. Can’t remove the layer and start again because that won’t work either. Can’t wait for some future usability and stability updates though!

Thank you for updating your review! There’s another way to create a wallpaper-matched background that doesn’t need to be top left aligned—Go into wiggle mode on your HomeScreen and swipe past the last page of apps to see a blank page. Screenshot that blank page, then use the screenshot when picking your wallpaper in Power Widgets. I will add that to the instructions in the next update. v1.1 was just released and should provide more stability. Please let me know if you are still running into these issues.
