Zero Customization, Poor UI
Can’t customize anything in this app. Not sure why there’s a settings tab when you can’t do anything with it. Collection view is terrible with two many rows across so you can’t view your portfolio adequately. The insurance values are wrong in the app (correct on the desktoo), and you can’t view them on individual cards anymore. Overall, a step back from PWCC and it doesn’t appear they’re listening to customers as nothing has been fixed.Show lessBarcle101
Fanatics Ruined PWCC
Obviously I have not been happy with the transition from PWCC to Fanatics Collection. The User Interface is clunky and takes way longer to load. However, the cherry on top is that it feels cheap and like it was designed for children and by children. You can’t even sort your purchases or sales by date or amount or filter them for what type of card. Bottom Line: Fanatics needs to use the product that they bought and revert back to PWCC’s user interface and layout.Show lessSwayfun01
Convergence
Ever since the Fanatics and PWCC merge, this app has taken a turn for the worst, can hardly navigate the app, crashes regularly, filters don’t work properly and now whenever you use the website (which is better) you will get navigated back to using this atrocity in order to surf the PWCC market, 3/10 you got enough money to do a better job so do it.Show lessTraffy-Guy
Flawed Updates
The PWCC to Fanatics splash/intro screen causes siginifcant delay in getting into the app. They need to remove this or speed it up. Default view is “Buy Now” with no way to go straight to your collection (previously portfolio). Collection view is terrible, with three rows across with small images. Very difficult to navigate and view your cards. They’ve removed insurance values from the individual cards on the app, for some odd reason. And, your total insured value in the app remains inaccurate and doesn’t match the desktop totals. Cards often show up multiple times as duplicates in auctions. They removed the “red” outbid and made it light orange, who knows why. Font now looks like an old typewriter vs the previous modern feel. Overall, they ruined a great PWCC experience and they don’t seem to listen to customers on app feedback. Likely be moving assets over to Alt or PSA.Show lessFanatics ruined the app
Used to be good. Now it’s not. Insurance values are completely off — mismatch between desktop and app values. And they removed values from the cards in the app. Collection view is visually a challenge. Downloaded the app as I enjoy adding to my collection via online auctions and have used PWCC before. I mainly use eBay and have found their app very easy and straightforward to use. I do want to note I have only used the app since Fanatics took it over from PWCC.
First impression was good. App was easy to download and sign up for. It’s fairly easy to use and find what you are searching for.
I do find it somewhat clunky to use though and bidding is not very user friendly. For example, you can only increase your bid by the amount the app wants you to bid (so $1, $2, etc increment) vs you putting in an amount. You also need to pay the buyer premium so a $20 bid will ultimately be higher (the app does note this). Shipping and handling is a flat fee and starts at $5 and they charge a premium for using credit cards too. Also, they add additional time to the end of the the auction so when I thought I had won my item, it went into an additional bid period allowing the price to change. Lastly, I have not received any updates on my purchase to notify me if/when it will ship or a tracking number. I won an auction on a Sunday night, paid Monday morning and 7 days later still no item. In the meantime, I have won an item from eBay after my Fanatics win, and have already received.Show lessJt317jt
Very Frustrating
Sorting by price filter does not work whatsoever.
Also if you leave the app and come back to it you will have to start scrolling all over again; it does not save your spot.
I suggest start bidding on web browser and only use the app for bidding on things you have already been following/bidding on.
Do not try to find new items to bid on with the app.Show lessfmoons
SCAMMERS
I purchased an expensive fixed priced card through PWCC and paid via ach transfer same day. They told me several days later fraud was detected on my account and they froze my account and required extensive information from me to approve my purchase including bank statements. I was dealing with Katie Breninger who is their “trust and safety lead” but she stopped replying to my emails and would never answer my questions directly. I tried contacting them via social media, filing complaints, and every other option I could but was still being kept in the dark as to why they wouldn’t ship my card out. I then asked for a refund but they refused and I couldn’t get one through my bank as it was an ACH transfer. Overall I would NEVER purchase through PWCC/Fanatics Collect again and if you do your research you won’t either. Complete incompetence and shady business practices form this company. Save your money and time and purchase elsewhere.Show lessdanny r j
New update needs work
Images too small under collection view makes it hard to scroll through your portfolio. Insurance values now removed from individual cards on app, not sure why. Also, insurance total on the app doesn’t match desktop totals. There’s some error there. Wish they’d return to dark background (or give you option to set it dark), as cards “popped” with a dark background. Wish default view isn’t “Buy Now” but rather go straight to “Collection.” Wish they’d return winning bids as green and outbid as red, similar to all other platforms. Also, startup splash screen with PWCC to Fanatics Collect takes too long. Wish they’d remove this delay. Overall, app is faster but needs work.Show lessCreation of account issue
