Wow

Best app I’ve ever stumbled across. Scary to see how high my stress levels actually are but now I know what I need to work on 🙏🏻

Thanks for the kind words, hope you're enjoying it!

Underwhelmed and expensive

The app seems like a very good idea, but the cost of the subscription is very high for the offering. I find myself with some data that give me contradictory information sometimes. I’m not even sure of the meaning of some of the measurements. Most of the metrics are based on other app users, which doesn’t tell me much honestly. The cost of the weekly subscription should be the monthly, tops. If this app is based on other app users, you need a lot more data than a free trial week. You need people’s data to run the app, and you make people pay way too much so you can use their data. Unsubscribed. Send me an email if you change your business model.

Thank you for your feedback. It would be really helpful if you could reach out to support@heartify.io to share what information you found contradicting. As for data on other users, most of the app is focused on the dynamics of your own measurements. Comparison metrics are given for general information, and are thoroughly filtered to show the most representative data.

Mauvais diagnostic

Response from developer

Stay away from this app

This is a scam.
You used it than story started.
After 3 days they start charging $8.99 per week automatically. Until you stop: 👹

Heartify is completely free to download and take your heart rate measurements. We do offer additional features for a premium subscription, which you can try out free for 3 days. The way all App Store subscriptions work is that after your trial period ends, you are upgraded to a regular subscription, which can later be canceled in your account whenever you need to.

Wow

I’m pretty amazed it was even able to get my pulse just by touching my finger on the camera lense. This the first time I’ve ever used my phone this sort of way so it feels like I’m finally getting my moneys worth with this phone. I would love to know how accurate all the readings are. Detected how much stress I have and it seemed to be right on . I’m pretty impressed . I’m a 35 year old athletic man . Idk why I threw that in but I did 😅

This is actually a common misconception with many devices that use photoplethysmography (PPG) to measure heart rate. In fact, even hospital pulse oximeters that you can put over your fingers often use the same technology. Here's how it works: first, a bright light, in this case, your camera's flashlight, shines on your skin, highlighting the contrasting blood vessels underneath. Then, we record the subtle light changes as oxygenated blood passes through the capillaries and measure the individual intervals between heartbeats. And that's how we get your pulse and heart rate variability! Because as you hold that object to the camera, it finds similar light changes and gives out a false positive. However, you can rest assured knowing that we have extensively tested our algorithms on actual humans (and one cat, in fact! no animals were harmed!), so when you decide to take a measurement according to the instructions, the app will accurately read your heart rate.

Healthy Heart & lifestyle

This app has taken the guess work out of my life. It has helped me become more aware of how I can add in little things to make my lifestyle changes without really noticing much effort.
My heart rate has been erratic & with this app it measures all aspects of your daily life!!! It is by far the most in-depth app into my daily life that I have yet to see on a smart phone.
I no longer have to where cumbersome watches that are far less accurate than this app. All the information I need is at the tick of this app whether it is for my personal use or if my cardiologist is looking for data it’s all here at the touch of a button. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to dive into their own heart health.
