when I downloaded this extension it didn't even show up in the safari extension prefrences to enable. I've tried both reinstalling the extension and enabling "allow unsigned extensions" but they all don't work.

Youtube seems to be dropping videos down to 360p or 480p even though it will play 1080p/1440p/4k without any issues; this little extension fixes that 🙂
Extremely Helpful
This app works perfectly on macOS Big Sur and does everything that it advertises on the App Store. Although this app is missing two features that I use evey day, dark mode and the ability to set the playback speed. When in dark mode, the light UI of this app is distracting. Changing the spped is something I do often when switching from 1x speed for entertaining videos to 2x speed for educational videos.

Works Wonderful for YouTube
Every video I open on YouTube, with Safari, it starts playing automatically in full screen and 1440p, highest resoultion my Macbook screen will go. Simple and easy, enjoying it.
Seems to do the job!
YouTube has been driving me insane for a while now, YouTube has been defaulting my quality to 144p even though when I manually switch it to 4K there is no buffering, but there seems to be no way to disable this in YouTube itself 😑. Had a quick search and found this extension and also saw there was no datamining, gave it a quick test and it's working perfectly so far!
