I will definitely work on adding the feature of using your own stickers in the future, as many people have suggested it by now! However, I will also continue to introduce new sticker packs and fonts steadily, so keep an eye out for updates.

I got this journal when I first got my iPad a couple weeks ago and I love it. I’ve recommended it to all my besties so we can make lil scrapbooks of our 2024. It gives you prompts if you don’t really know what to write about, but it also gives you the option to select a blank entry and just type out what you want like a traditional diary!
Bubbles talks to you and always has something fun and cute to say. The payment was totally worth it and I really applaud the creator! From my understanding, this is a small creator, which is awesome and impressive!
If you want to start journaling regularly, I really do recommend this app. It keeps you engaged and isn’t boring like other diary-like apps. There’s even a “book mode” where you can change the layout of the screen to look more like you’re flipping through pages.
I’m so happy I found this hidden gem on the App Store!

I’m using mine to create a vision board and digital scrapbooking pages for nice memories

So many details make this app a fun experience and make me enjoy journaling and stick with it in a way I haven’t before. For example the confetti when you click on bubbles sticking his head out while journaling and the fun things that bubbles says when you open the app. Bubbles asks you and remembers your favorite greetings and emojis and more things and then uses these when he greets you at the beginning and ending of your journaling session. On top of that there are so many fun things to make the journaling more personalized, such as adding stickers and tags and photos. The book mode allows you to view all your entries like you are reading a book. Basically what I’m trying to say is that so many beautiful, cute and thoughtful elements come together to make journaling feel like a delightful experience for me in this app. I love it!!

Regarding your question: No, Bubbles does not read your entries. The only information he receives is from the conversations you have with him. Bubbles isn't an AI but rather a friendly bear who enjoys engaging in dialogues, without ever intruding on your personal space. I hope this clears things up for you ☺️

I made an entry right away and everything was perfect. Later, when I wanted to make a new text entry it kept telling me to buy a more advanced version. I would have loved to buy it but at the moment I was on the road and not in a good position to buy something. I kept trying to make a new entry but it kept showing me the screen. I don’t know if this is normal for it to do that every single time but I really like the app and would like to make new entries without buying the more advanced plan.

I totally understand the hiccup you encountered when prompted for an upgrade while on the move. Unfortunately, to write more entries, you will have to get either a subscription plan or buy lifetime.
I've poured my heart into Bubbles’ Journal for the past four years alongside juggling university and work, and this support helps keep it growing. Also, compared to the competition, I hope the price is fair, especially since some of its profit is donated.

I've thought about bringing Bubbles to the iPhone, but there are no immediate plans. I don't want to rush and simply resize the iPad version for the iPhone, as that might not provide the best experience. Journaling on the iPad has its own special feel, like sitting down in an old-school diary-type fashion to create something meaningful. iPhone journaling tends to be quicker and more about capturing moments as they happen. Many apps are great at this already. To introduce Bubbles to the iPhone, I need to develop a concept that blends the iPad and iPhone experiences well.
