Definitely worth the money to subscribe. Lots of content, and there are monthly webinars where you can have your questions answered and your training videos critiqued. No harsh handling methods, it’s all positive and reward based gundog training. Couldn’t ask for better
This app is absolutely amazing I couldn’t say anything bad about it. I got an 8 week old cocker and as much as I’ve trained dogs before you can sometimes forget the simple things. Well this app has kept me on track and reminded me to keep doing the right thing, never worrying to go back a step or two. Not actually positive gundog training
A gentle correction based on fostering negative feelings to the extent the dog in the demo is displaying such avoidance and submissive behaviour but the trainer still continues with forcing the return/recall in order to apply the “BG correction”. Lots of avoidance behavior in the demo dogs.
Better than force training but not quite there. Not the resource I hoped it to be.

Great resource
This is a good quality resource for anyone wanting to make progress with their Gundog. We have had a trainer in the past costing over £30 for a 25min session, so this is good value and always on hand. Also their is good support from the guys behind the app should you have particular queries or issues with your training. Also invites to regular online webinars where a lot of areas are discussed further.
I would like to see additions to the app going forward, such as perhaps laid out training programmes for the total layman as to what you should be mastering first before moving on to another area with your dog. As well as perhaps ratings for exercises from beginner to advanced depending on where you are with your dogs progress. As I find the app layout a little odd and I sometimes struggle to know which video I should be working on.

We have a WCS pup that we have been training using the App since we took her home aged 8/9 weeks. My wife and I have never trained a dog before, let alone a Gundog and have been guided step-by-step via this app. She is now 7 months old and reaping the benefits of what we have all learned from the app and the BG Basics programme. Living in London and walking our puppy in parks next to busy roads we have learnt essential skills, especially the STOP whistle which we use in practical situations on a daily basis. Not only do we have a dog that listens to us, we have a dog that numerous people comment on and are shocked at how well trained she is. If you're pondering whether this app is worth getting, let me assure you it most definitely is!
I was a little hesitant to spend the money as I feel I’ve got a fairly good understanding of training. I already attend gundog classes with my older cocker spaniel and we’ve done well.
I got a pup in Spring and this app with all its content including a monthly webinar been a real game changer! It’s daunting having a 8 week old pup, but with this app it all slots effortlessly into place. The exercises are all positive, reward based training and so simple… I’ve had so many moments of clarity, and feel less rushed knowing I just have to follow the progress.
I now have a 20-week old cocker spaniel pup that's well mannered (mainly) and does things my older dog probably wouldn’t do!

A must have app for gundog owners
Whatever your experience, this app will make you a better trainer for sure. We’ve made incredible progress with our 2 year old Labrador and we’ve only been using it for a couple of months. I just wish it had been available from when we got her at 8 weeks. The videos are great, we constantly refer back to them to ensure we’re doing everything correctly. The content in this app is so helpfully laid out, breaking down each element of training into bite sized information complete with videos to see how each exercise is supposed to be done.
