Requires network connectivity to access scooter settings
I found out today that if your phone doesn’t have access to the internet, you won’t be able to use the app to change settings or lock/unlock your scooter, which obviously would be very bad and could leave you stuck somewhere. Also, even if your phone has an internet connection but Okai’s servers are unavailable (as they are today, possibly because of the Cloudstrike outage) the situation is the same. The app will not connect to your scooter. Remote server connection should not be necessary. All settings updated should be possible with only a Bluetooth connection but the app will not work without an internet connection. Luckily I am within the return window for my OKAI Neon Ultra as this huge oversight is unacceptable. If OKAI was to drop support for their app or deprecate their servers, the scooter would be little more than a paperweight.Show lessillintechnology
Worst Ever
i had the app on my old phone to control the scooter such as the speed and lights and more . Since i got a new phone i had to re download to app and i forgot my password . We called customer service and they said that can’t change the password and they can not give us a new password . I can no longer long into or use the app . This result me into only be able to be on 15 speed . This app is the worst .Show lessZaiden J

The app is really bad. You have no way to adjust The drive modes and it doesn’t even tell you what the drive modes are. Honestly thinking abt returning the scooter because of how bad this app is.

what happened?
this app was a little buggy before, but I very much dislike how they removed the custom color effects for each different drive mode. there used to be an option to edit the way it looked when you were accelerating, stationary, and charging. now it only adjusts for when it’s on or charging, but with lesser effect options. I know I’m not the only one who specifically bought one of their scooters because of the unique color settings that were available. are their any other brands that have more options?Show less@Jermzy
I need help
I don’t understand I just got my scooter and February February. It’s been working really well until like three days ago. It just shut off. I can’t get it started the app. I can’t even get on my phone to help me so has anyone ever had a problem like this if so, can you please let me know what I should dobecause it’s not a year old I don’t understand it was working fine. Overall the scooter it self is great.. though it could use a brighter head light. The low point is not the scooter but the app it self. While the app has potential the fact that I can only get it to connect to the scooter 30% of the time should say it all. If you lose the activation card and the scooter is locked you are pretty much screwed. This out of everything needs to be fixed the most.Show lessDark phantom 23

For some reason every time I go on the E speed my light turns on and off very strange and for some reason it’s not charging all the way

OKAI neon pro
I have an OKAI neon pro and have been using this app for a week now and it’s super user friendly easy to setup scooter with and super smooth ui. I have seen so many bad reviews but idk why I haven’t had a single issue yet and couldn’t be happier … your scooter is amazing btw.happy apeeee
They removed at least 3 features.
They kept ride mode to change between Eco, low and high. But they removed Sport mode. They removed custom dash screens. And they removed the ability to change the lights while riding. You can only change the charging lights and idle stop light effect. I spent lots of money on this scooter and within the year they get rid of 3-4 great features. Latest update removed features
You can change the power from Eco Low or High. But sport mode is missing on latest update. The map stuff and ride history is also gone but that honestly was always just using your phone location history. But knowing where he scooter last was and that map is completely gone too. Please bring back sport mode and last location map… and the custom speedometers back!Show less
