I think this might be the single most poorly designed app on my phone
(1) It continuously logs me out. Why? There's zero reason to do that on a phone. My iPhone is already secure. Only I can unlock it. If someone did manage to steal it there are far more important apps for them to try to get money from than the Intertie EV app. When it does log me out I have to through the ridiculous 2 factor login where it wants to email me or phone me, and, it doesn't remember either so I have to enter them.
(2) It does not remember who/where I am. I'm using the app to charge my car in my apartment's garage. Yet every single time I use the app I have to wait for it to get a GPS signal, wait for it to show the 5 chargers in the garage. Select the itty-bitty icon on the map. Scroll down to find charger #2 (the one next to my designated parking spot). How hard is it to expect that most people are going to use the same chargers each time. The app should default showing a list of the last 3-5 chargers since most users are going to be at the same locations (the place the park at for work). The flow should be, plug in the car, start the app, pick "Charge". Because, the most likely thing is to charge at the same station. GPS should not get needed to use a station you have used before. Worse, The Charger Is In The Basement!!! Where it gets GPS errors. Did anyone actually think this through?
(3) It takes forever to start. I don't know what bloated framework they're using but there's no reason this app should take so long to start up.
This feels like an MVP that was farmed out a 3rd rate development house.
