User Reviews: Focustronic All in One

  • Bad software, bad service

Software is terrible. Customer service is downright rude and pretends the device has no flaws — everything is always your fault, never theirs. They do not put effort into improving usability and reliability. Update process for devices is ridiculous. Finding parts can be a real pain, and it’s not always clear which parts you need to order. Basically, quality of life as a Focustronic customer is quite poor.
  • Buyer Beware

The app constantly disconnects despite the device appearing on the network. If you visit their official support forum on Facebook and speak ill of their device, they will delete your post and ban you. Buyer beware, stay away.
  • Terrible app

I can’t get my mastertronic to connect to app. This is so stupid why can’t they add a button to add device instead of using up address login etc it doesn’t work. I have a unit that I can’t even connect to.
  • Solartronic

Solartronic will not connect to the app
  • Works

I have had no issues with the app. Given that it controls multiple different highly complex devices, it has few issues and support (through the Facebook group) is extremely helpful and robust.
  • Software is bad

Software is poor. App is cumbersome and data not saved. Keep enter info over and over. No way to set up all tests coherently. Lots of error reported. Device lags app and minutes later will do something app thought was done. So many very lame poor things can’t list.

Using mastertronic and can’t comment on that thought it lacks quality software too. Expecting it to be a fabulous product but app gives me little confidence. Focustronic needs to find professional software engineers and not what they have now
